August 15 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports, courtesy of the administration.

August 12 – Day Shift

728 Frawley Rd. (Vandalism)-

Police spoke with the property manager who stated an unknown suspect had entered six of the newly constructed units and cut some of the electrical wiring out of them. The cut wires were found on site. (22-011355)

6510 Ringgold Rd. ( Disorder)-

Police were dispatched to this location on a disorder between two females and a male who were refusing to leave the property. Upon arrival police identified the parties as Tammy Lyles, Carmen Neloms, and Eric Gaines. Neloms and Lyles both had active warrants for their arrest. Neloms through Hamilton County and Lyles through Meigs County. Meigs County did not wish to place a hold on Lyles but Neloms was taken into custody and transported to Silverdale. Lyles and Gaines were advised to leave the area and all three were criminally trespassed from the property per management. (22-011364)

8700 E. Brainerd Rd (Warrant Service):

HCSO deputies were out with Fred White at this location with verified East Ridge warrants. Police arrived and took custody of White and transported him to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.22-011349)

August 12 – Night Shift

4300 Ringgold Road (Warrant Service):

Following a traffic stop at this location, Kenneth D. Phillips Jr. was taken into custody on warrants out of the county. Phillips also received traffic citations. He also stated he was going to sue the officer who stopped him because of racial profiling. (22-011382)

6500 Ringgold Road (Suspicious Person):

Police were dispatched to this area regarding a male who was running up to different vehicles and bothering the occupants of the vehicles. Police located the suspect. His father arrived on scene and took him to the Budgetel where they were staying. (22-011395)

300 Camp Jordan Parkway Suspicious Vehicle):

Reporting party called in a suspicious vehicle in the bushes in the park. Police made contact with the driver who stated the car died at that location while attempting to camp. (22-011391)

3502 Ringgold Rd (Disorder Weapon Involved):

Police responded to a reported shooting at Ace Hardware. The complainant stated that her boyfriend was following her in his vehicle and fired two shots at her in the area of Ringgold Rd and Donaldson Rd. Police were unable to locate evidence of a shooting taking place. Police are following up on possible camera footage of the area. (22-011386)

5006 Newport Dr. (Suspicious Activity):

Police responded to a call at this address regarding an attempted theft. The suspect fled the scene and was later located. It was determined no vehicles were entered and nothing was stolen. (22-011394)

August 13 – Day Shift

1417 St Thomas St (Disorder/Arrest 22-011404):

Police made contact with Solomon Pierce in room 120 after Motel 6 staff called stating he refused to leave. Pierce was found to have multiple warrants through Hamilton County. He was detained and transported to Silverdale without incident.

I75N at the Welcome Center (Disorder 22-11410):

A caller advised a busload of immigrants had stopped at the welcome center and was attempting to disembark passengers. When police arrived they located approximately 30 parties who said they had transportation coming. Several were observed being picked up in private vehicles. Officers had to stop multiple parties from walking on the interstate. It was learned the subjects were to be taken and dropped off at regional transportation hubs en route to NY, Washington DC and Chicago. After speaking to parties it is believed they may have been abandoned at the Welcome Center by the bus.

7609 Standifer Gap Rd (Warrant Arrest 22-011401):

Caylea Iremonger was arrested on multiple East Ridge warrants at the Hamilton County Jail.

7609 Standifer Gap Rd (Warrant Service 22-011414):

Sharon Martin was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail on multiple East Ridge warrants.

August 13 – Night Shift

1410 Mack Smith Road (AOA/Arrest):

Kosha Cosey was taken into custody following a traffic stop at this location for Simple Possession – MDMA, Simple Possession – Methamphetamine, Criminal Impersonation, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm as well as four valid warrants out of Collegedale. The recovered firearm is also suspected to be stolen out of Las Vegas but was not confirmed at the time of the stop pending further identifiers of the firearm as it may have been altered. (22-011431)

3500 Ringgold Rd (Evading arrest):

Police attempted to make a traffic stop on a 2008 black Honda Fit, bearing TN Tag: (BJS9624.) The vehicle fled the traffic stop and officers did not purse as is department policy. (22-011428)

800 S Germantown Rd (Arrest):

James Taylor Jr. fled on foot during a traffic stop at this location. Taylor was captured and taken to Silverdale Detention Center for processing. Police learned Taylor had multiple warrants for his arrest, to include especially aggravated burglary. (22-011441)

4900 Brainerd Road (Warrant Service):

Aubrillius Martin was taken into custody on East Ridge warrant # 146641. East Ridge police met with CPD at this location. Martin was transported to Silverdale.  Conditions were attempted to be delivered to the victim. Conditions were sent to NCIC. (21-000303)

6708 Ringgold Rd. (Arrest / Criminal Trespass):

Andrew Dean was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and issued a criminal Trespass warning for this location. (22-011436)
