August 28 Police Briefs

The following information is courtesy of the East Ridge Police Department.

Day Shift August 27

24-011008 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest-Misdemeanor Citation – After stealing 30 towels and 3 spray bottles of cleaner, two men were stopped on the lot of a local restaurant. One was issued a misdemeanor citation, and the other was transported to Hamilton County Jail on a warrant out of Rutherford County, Tennessee. Both parties were also trespassed from the car wash and given trespass warnings.

24-011024 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – The employees requested police to escort an uncompliant tenant who was asked to leave the premises. Police had the man collect his belongings and escorted him off the residence without further incident.

24-011027 – 1100 BLK Sewanee Drive – Disorder – A party called in stating that his mother and her boyfriend were arguing, and he thought one was going to drive off with the other hanging off the side of the car. Upon further investigation, officers determined that the disorder was verbal in nature and both parties agreed to separate for the evening.

Night Shift August 27

24-008415 – 1517 Tombras Ave – Warrant Service – A man was taken in on East Ridge Warrants for three offenses of Theft of Embezzlement while attending court. He was transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.

24-011043 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd – Traffic Stop Warrants – Two parties were arrested for active warrants from Catoosa and Chattooga County. Both were transported to Hamilton County Jail with extradition authorized.
