Law and Order April 23

The following information is courtesy of the East Ridge Police Department.

Day Shift April 22: A Squad

26-003657 – 400 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Suspicious Person – The staff requested police to trespass a man who would become verbally aggressive towards them when they would ask if he needed medical attention. The male would curse at the staff, use the restroom, and leave. The subject was informed of his trespass and left the scene.

26-003671 – 700 BLK Germantown Circle Apartment- Theft – The caller reported that his friend had stolen his firearm. Pending sufficient evidence of the crime, a warrant will be sought.

Night Shift April 22: C Squad

26-003680 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity – Police Officers responded to the report of a suspicious male wandering the area. The caller stated the male was wearing all black clothing and repeatedly pulled down his pants. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the subject. No other calls were received regarding the individual.

26-003685 – 5300 BLK Oakdale Avenue – Suspicious Person – Police Officers responded to the report of a burglary in progress at this residence. A caregiver observed an unknown individual in the front yard of the home and thought the person had entered the building. Police officers spoke with the resident and checked the home. No signs of forced entry or theft were observed and no one else was found in the residence.

26-003689 – 1500 BLK Karwill Lane– Mentally Disturbed – An elderly female called the 911 Dispatch Center to report her sister as missing. The reporting party appeared confused on several details and was unsure of her exact location. Police officers responded to the location and found the reporting party was suffering from a mental health issue. Police were able to contact the sister and determined she was out to dinner with her husband.

26-003692 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant service – While in custody at Hamilton County Jail, a man was served with an arrest warrant through the City of East Ridge. The original charge on the warrant was harassment.

26-003693 – 700 BLK Hardin Drive – Assist EMS / Fall Victim – While conducting neighborhood patrols, a Police officer observed a woman lying in her front yard with two other women attempting to help her. Upon speaking with the victim, the Police officer found she was experiencing a medical issue, and the two women were her sisters. EMS responded to the location and transported the patient to a local hospital.

He was among reporters who were honored by the Associated Press for the TFP's coverage of the 2002 fog-shrouded crash on I-75 in Catoosa County, Dick and his wife, Cathy, live on Marlboro Avenue where they are seen frequently chasing around their three grandsons.
