The following information is courtesy of the East Ridge Police Department.

Day Shift January 12 : B Squad

26-000390-3700 BLK Fountain Avenue-Missing Not Endangered – The caller reported to police that he had not heard from his son since 12/19/2025. He advised police that the last time he spoke with his son, he was staying at a hotel on Ringgold Road. It was discovered that he had checked out on 12/24/2025. The party was entered into NCIC as missing.

26-000402- 800 BLK Hardin Drive- Psychiatric Emergency – Police responded to this location after a party called in on his daughter. The woman was able to answer basic cognitive questions prior to police departure from the scene.

26-000406- 4300 BLK Ringgold Road- Theft/Shoplifting – Management requested a police report after an unidentified male drove off with approximately $400 of stolen merchandise. No further details could be provided as to the suspect’s identity, but he was viewed leaving the store in what appeared to be a black Ford Mustang or Toyota Solara.

26-000408- 5300 BLK Oakdale Ave- Mentally Disturbed – Police responded to this location after a resident was observed getting frustrated. Officers talked him through some of the issues up until Crisis arrived on scene and took priority. ERPD left the scene without further incident.

Night Shift January 12: D Squad

26-000412 – 5300 BLK Oakdale Avenue – Disorder – Police responded to the above address for a disorder. Officers transported a man at the request of mobile crisis for an evaluation.

26-000415- 3500 BLK Bennett Road- Warrant Service – Police executed a search warrant on the residence above for two wanted subjects. Both were located and arrested on outstanding felony warrants.

He was among reporters who were honored by the Associated Press for the TFP's coverage of the 2002 fog-shrouded crash on I-75 in Catoosa County, Dick and his wife, Cathy, live on Marlboro Avenue where they are seen frequently chasing around their three grandsons.
