Day Shift June 10: B Squad
26-005376 – 3700 BLK Fountain Avenue- Vandalism – Police responded to the listed address for vandalism. The reporting party and owner of the vehicle reported that he parked his SUV in the parking lot the previous night and this morning at 0637 the passenger window was busted out and the glovebox was open.
26-005382-6500 BLK Ringgold Road-Intoxicated Person – Staff reported that a male subject parked at pump number nine was drinking an alcoholic beverage. ERPD contacted the subject who stated he had just opened the beer he had purchased and was leaving the gas station to go home for the day. He was advised of the open container laws in Tennessee and was cited accordingly before being sent on his way.
Night Shift June 10: D Squad
26-005393 – 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Suspicious Person – A man was trespassed from Camp Jordan after his belongings were discovered inside the kitchen pavilion. Park and Recreation employees were alerted to the area after his dog was discovered running loose in the area. The man cooperated with the police and was taken into custody for a Walker County, GA warrant. The subject acknowledged he was trespassed and stated he would not return to Camp Jordan. East Ridge Animal Services took the dog for safekeeping after no other responsible person could be located.
26-005399- 3700 BLK Fountain Avenue- Theft from Vehicle – The owner reported that sometime between 2250 hours June 9th and 0745 hours June 10th, someone had gained access to his vehicle and removed his firearm from the center console.
26-005404 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Domestic Assault – A man was arrested for domestic assault after motel staff observed him assaulting his girlfriend outside the couple’s motel room. On scene, police observed injuries to the victim consistent with an assault. He was transported to Hamilton County Jail.
26-005413 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Vandalism – An unidentified male wearing a white ski mask was reportedly vandalizing vehicles at random using a brick. Police checked the vicinity and discovered other vehicles with damaged windows located down the street at a nearby service center.
