Day Shift March 6: A Squad
26-002030 – 1400 BLK Mack Smith Road – Park and Walk – Police investigated the vacant building after observing a door with its glass shattered at the main office. Officers cleared the building and observed signs of recent occupancy.
26-002038 – 5300 BLK Dupont Street – Disorder – Officers responded to this location after a man placed all his wife’s belongings near the street and attempted to trespass her from the residence. He was advised that he cannot trespass his wife from her home, to which he responded with hostility towards officers. The parties agreed to separate; however, should the wife return, the man has stated he is willing to go to jail over the matter.
Night Shift March 6 : C Squad
26-002051 – 6100 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Narcotics Arrest – During a traffic stop, Police determined that a woman was in possession of eleven grams of methamphetamine along with several items of drug paraphernalia. She was taken into custody and transported to Hamilton County Jail.
26-002052 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity – A citizen reported hearing gunshots in the vicinity of Ringgold Road and Scruggs Road. Police Officers responded to the location and checked the surrounding areas. ERPD found no evidence of gun fire or criminal activity.
26-002059 – 700 BLK Marley Way – Disorder / Arrest for Other Agency – Police responded to a disorder involving a man and woman at this location. The reporting party stated the female exited his truck and started walking down the road. An officer located her and conducted a welfare check. Upon further investigation, police found that the party had an arrest warrant for a probation violation through the City of Soddy Daisy. She was taken into custody and transported to Hamilton County Jail without further incident.
26-002062 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Hold – Deputies with the Catoosa County Sherrif’s Office located a fugitive out of East Ridge. An arrest warrant for was confirmed and a hold was placed on her. Deputies transported the subject to Catoosa County Jail to await extradition to Hamilton County. The original charge on the arrest warrant was Domestic Assault.
Day Shift March 7: A Squad
26-002073 – 700 BLK Germantown Circle – Theft from Auto – Police spoke to the resident who advised someone had entered her vehicle overnight and removed a Zebra Handheld Scanner she utilizes for work. No other items were reported to be missing. No obvious signs of manipulation of the locking mechanism were observed.
26-002078 – 1000 BLK Floyd Drive – Deceptive Practice – Police spoke with the resident who advised he received a phone call from someone claiming to be the Tennessee Department of Human Services. The caller asked for his EBT card number and PIN to be able to keep his benefits. The resident obliged and found the suspect used $400 in SNAP benefits. A report was filed with the Tennessee department of Human services.
Night Shift March 7 : C Squad
26-002093 – 1400 BLK Saint Thomas Street – Assist EMS – Police, Fire, and EMS personnel responded to the report of an unconscious male at this location. On scene, police officers found the individual and observed him going in and out of consciousness. EMS arrived on scene and transported the male to a local medical facility for further care.
26-0020295 – 1600 BLK South Smith Street – Unknown Trouble – The Hamilton County Dispatch Center received a call from a female who stated, “I’m Done” and hung up the phone. The female did not provide an address or name and would not respond to call backs. Based on the 911 locator, police checked the area of South Smith Street and spoke with several residents. The female caller was not located, and Police found no signs of distress in the area.
Day Shift March 8: A Squad
26-002101 – 6500 BLK Slater Road – Suspicious Person – A caller reported seeing an intoxicated female hit her dog at the business. Officers located the party. She denied the allegations of animal abuse, and appeared to be of sound mind. She and the dog were given a courtesy ride to Chattanooga.
Night Shift March 8 : C Squad
26-002106 – 1500 BLK Maxwell Road – Suspicious Person – A passerby reported a homeless male was beating on road signs near the US Post Office. Police Officers responded to the location and found the subject singing while tapping on several metal signs. He stated he was just making music and apologized for the disturbance. Police found no damage to the road signs and the man left the area.
26-002117 – 100 BLK Frawley Road – Suspicious Person – A concerned citizen reported a female was camping out in front of an empty house. ERPD responded to the location and found the subject sitting on the porch of the vacant residence. She had just left another house in the area and requested a ride to a friend’s home. After checking for warrants and contraband, police provided the woman with a courtesy ride to her friend’s residence. A bicycle and some personal belongings were left outside of the duplex.
