Day Shift May 12: A Squad

26-004360 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft – The Loss Prevention Clerk informed police of a theft that occurred on 05/10/2026. An identifiable female was captured on CCTV stealing plants from the patio area. ERPD will be seeking warrants for theft of property.

26-004353 – 6700 BLK Dharma Loop – Suspicious Activity – The caller stated that he observed an unknown subject attempting to open vehicle doors. The suspect was captured on a security camera located above the resident’s garage door. The footage shows the suspect being startled by a neighbor exiting their driveway and subsequently leaving the scene. At this time, no suspect has been identified.

26-004329- 300 BLK Frawley Road- Alarm – Police responded to this residence concerning an alarm. Patrol observed an animal stalking the premise. The large skunk was noted; the alarm was accidental per the resident.

26-004363- 600 BLK Stimpson Road-Burglary – Police responded to this location regarding a burglary. The caller advised someone had broken into her deceased aunt’s home. Officers observed broken windows and glass on the floor. CID responded to the scene. Currently no suspect information is known.

26-004352- 800 BLK Donaldson Road- Deceptive Practice – The reporting party stated she was messaging with a man party via Facebook about a home for rent in the 1700 block of Prigmore Road. The man requested $400 for a background check and partial down payment on the property. The funds were sent via PayPal. Communications ceased after the exchange.

Night Shift May 12: C Squad

26-004373 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – Deceptive Practice – A business owner in Chattanooga reported he was scammed out of $1,500. The victim stated that he was contacted by an individual posing an EPB representative and was told his service was going to be disconnected for non-payment. The EPB representative provided a barcode and directed him to a store in East Ridge where he could make immediate payment through a wire transfer. At the store, the barcode was scanned and $1,500 was transferred to a fraudulent account.

26-004376 – 6400 BLK Dharma Loop – Burglary of an Automobile – Residents reported that an unknown male entered both of their vehicles. The incident occurred at approximately 0600 hours, and Police were provided with camera footage of the incident.

26-004381 – 3900 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop/Narcotics Arrest – Patrol conducted a traffic stop with a Dodge Grand Caravan. During the traffic stop, the van occupants were interviewed, and the officer conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle. During the search, Police found 0.40 grams of methamphetamine and 5 grams of fentanyl. Based on the evidence, a suspect was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine for Resale and Possession of Fentanyl.

26-004387 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity – An individual at the gas station reported hearing several gunshots from the direction of the 6700 block of Ringgold Road. Police Officers checked the area and surrounding neighborhoods but did not locate any injured persons or other evidence of gunfire.
