Day Shift May 28: B Squad

26-004909 – 1517 Tombras Ave- Suspicious Person – Police responded to city hall regarding a man sleeping in his vehicle with the door open. Officers found him asleep on a makeshift bed in his vehicle. He said his vehicle had broken down the night prior and was waiting for a friend to help him out. The party was checked for warrants and had a non-extraditable through Indiana. He agreed to move his vehicle and left the area.

26-004916 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Disorder – Hospital staff requested police assistance with a patient that was getting physical with medical staff.

26-004918, 26-004933, 26-004934, 26-004935, 26-004936, 26-004937, 26-004938- 3600 BLK Ringgold Road- Shoplifting – A male party was identified as the suspect in a string of shoplifting events that took place at the listed address between 4/19/2026 and 5/28/2026 with (7) different occurrences. Warrants are being sought for his arrest.

26-004919- 3600 BLK Ringgold Road- Shoplifting/Trespass – Police were called to provide a trespass for a female shoplifter, but the store did not want to prosecute for the theft. The female refused to identify herself and attempted to abscond from the detention. She was identified as after a Tennessee ID was found in her purse. She was charged with criminal impersonation and resisting arrest.

26-004932 – 3600 BLK Weldon Drive – Suspicious Person – A concerned citizen reported a bald male was peeking into the windows of an unoccupied residence. On scene, police located the man who stated he was shopping for a rental home, in preparation for a favorable outcome in an upcoming lawsuit with the City of Chattanooga. His information was verified and he was sent on his way.

26-003636 – Ringgold Road- Theft – An officer spoke with a manager regarding a theft that occurred 15 minutes prior to police arrival. The manager advised a male came into the store, took two bags of Starburst candies and left without paying. The total loss amount was $10. Management wished to prosecute the offense. Police are still working to identify the culprit.

Night Shift May 28: D Squad

26-004946 – 300 BLK Frawley Road – Arrest – The reporting party of a theft was found to have a valid warrant through Soddy Daisy City Court for failure to appear. She was placed in custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.

26-004952 – 1400 BLK North Smith Street – Suspicious Vehicle – An anonymous caller reported an unfamiliar vehicle parked outside a residence for over an hour, running without an occupant. Police observed a driver in the truck who stated he was visiting a friend.

26-004953 – 3600 BLK Shirl Jo Lane– Domestic Disorder – Police responded to the above address for a domestic disorder. Officers determined that no crime had occurred before providing one of the individuals with a courtesy ride to a local hospital for a mental health evaluation.
