Law and Order November 20

Day Shift November 19 : A Squad

25-012067 – 1000 BLK John Ross Road – Harassment – A party reported that the suspect followed her to Anderson Avenue, where she then got out of her vehicle and spit on her car. The RP said the encounter was unprovoked, and she believed the woman was harassing her because of a prior car accident the two had been in. Simultaneously, the suspect contacted the police and requested a harassment report after she alleged the other woman cut her off in the car-rider line. Both parties were advised to stay away from one another.

25-012064 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – CPD notified dispatch they had a woman detained who had an active East Ridge warrant for Petition to Revoke, original charge Possession of a Controlled Substance. CPD transported her to Hamilton County jail where the warrant paperwork was faxed and served.

25-012071- 6700 BLK Ringgold Road- Disorder Prevention – Police were dispatched to assist in removing an unruly guest. On arrival, the guest had vacated the room. While officers were attempting to leave, customer approached and stated he was owed money by another guest at the hotel. Police facilitated a peaceful resolution, and the unruly man went about his day.

25-012080- 6500 BLK Ringgold Road- Suspicious Package – Police were dispatched on reports of a bag of methamphetamine that was left behind by a customer. Staff found the bag of narcotics while bussing the table. Police retrieved the 2.9grams of methamphetamine and put it into property for destruction.

Night Shift November 19: C Squad

25-012085 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service – While in custody at the Hamilton County Jail, a man was served with an arrest warrant through the City of East Ridge. The original charge for the arrest warrant was Shoplifting.

25-012091 – 5700 BLK Ringgold Road – Assist Other Agency – The ERPD Crime Suppression Unit observed a suspicious person riding a bicycle near the restaurant. The male was identified and found to have an arrest warrant through the Hamilton Sessions Court. The original charge on the warrant was Theft of Property. The party was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.

25-012092 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Auto Theft / Assist Other Agency – Police responded to the motel after a female reported her stolen car was at this location. Officers checked the area but did not locate the vehicle. After speaking with the victim, it was determined that the vehicle was originally stolen in Nashville, Tennessee. The victim was referred to the Nashville Metro Police Department to make a theft report so the vehicle could be entered into NCIC.

25-012094 – 5300 BLK Oakdale Avenue – Shots Fired – A caller reported hearing a car door slam followed by a loud gunshot near their home. Police checked the area but found no signs of distress or injuries.

25 -012095 – 1500 BLK McBrien Road – Narcotics Violation / Arrest – Police responded to the report of a suspicious silver truck sitting on McBrien Road. In the area, Police located a silver Chevrolet pick-up and found a female sleeping in it. Officers also observed suspected drugs and drug paraphernalia lying in plain view. A probable cause search of the vehicle yielded sixteen grams of methamphetamine, two small baggies of suspected fentanyl, and a small baggie of crushed pills. The woman was taken into custody, transported to the Hamilton County jail, and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent for Resale, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Legend Drugs without a Prescription.

25-012096 – 3500 BLK Bennett Road – Assist Fire and EMS – Police and Fire Department personnel responded to a medical emergency at this location. On scene, First Responders located the male on the floor of his home and determined that he had fallen. Due to his injuries, EMS responded to the location and transported the patient to a local hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
