Bledsoe County edged East Ridge, 14-13, Friday evening in high school football.

East Ridge (1-1) took a 13-7 lead in the first half, as Cameron Sanders scored on a three-yard run in the first quarter, and Sanders connected with Jalen Boykin on a 15-yard scoring pass.

The Pioneers will try to get back in the win column next Friday as they travel to East Hamilton. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.
