Police Briefs for Aug. 5

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.

August 3 Day Shift

4320 Bennett Rd (indecent exposure/mental health consumer):

Police responded to the ball fields at East Ridge High School after receiving reports of a naked man in the area. Police located the man, sans clothing, as he was returning to his home on Stateline Rd. While speaking with him, police determined he was experiencing a mental health moment, which was confirmed by the subject’s account and admission of having been prescribed mental health medication. EMS responded and evaluated him. He was believed not to be a threat to himself or others. He was advised to stay indoors if he felt the need to walk around again. (22-010922).

5335 Clemons Road – Disorder –

The preacher for the church called and advised there was a male subject with a dog on property refusing to leave.  Upon arrival, the suspect left the property. (22-010915)

3636 Ringgold Road – Gas N Go – Lost Property –

The complainant called in reporting that she was at the Gas N Go on Ringgold Road yesterday and dropped her credit card, debit card, and wedding ring set.  She advised the card was used at the Circle K in East Ridge for approx. $40.  (22-010918)            

4150 Monroe St (disorder/civil matter):

Police responded to the Neighborhood Walmart in reference to a possible unruly customer. On arrival, the customer was not a disturbance but was trying to figure out a money matter caused by Walmart staff. The employees and customers were able to come to an agreement and remained peaceful. (22-010926).

Night Shift

1400 Mack Smith Road (Warrant Service 22-010945):

Jessica Traylor was taken into custody at this location for an East Ridge Alias Capias – Possession of Schedule V warrant after she was observed in a vehicle leaving the Budgetel

941 Spring Creek Road (Arrest 22-010944):

Desmond Covington was taken into custody for disorderly conduct following an altercation with hospital staff and police.

1410 Mack Smith Rd Room 3322 (Disorder 22-010949):

Police responded to a disorder between a juvenile and security staff at this location. Officers stood by while security personnel advised the family to vacate the property on 8/4/22.

603 S Germantown Rd (Warrant Service/ FI 22-010955):

Police found a broken down auto on S Germantown Rd occupied by multiple occupants. Occupant Roger Wright was found to have a warrant for his arrest out of Hamilton County Criminal Court. His warrant was for a violation of probation (original charge of violating sex offender registry). Wright was transported to the jail without incident.
