Police Briefs for March 26

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

March 24 Day Shift

22-004068- 4100 blk of Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person-

The caller advised of a female dressed like a Ninja Turtle walking along the road making obscene gestures and dancing in the roadway. On scene police encountered a woman on the sidewalk. She was checked for warrants and advised to stay out of the road. 

22-004059- 7600 block Standifer Gap Road- Warrant Service-

Constance Taylor was served an East Ridge warrant at Silverdale.

22-004060- 6800 block Martha Avenue- Suspicious Vehicle-

The caller advised a white Nissan has been parked in front of her residence since the driver was arrested early this morning. The vehicle was not causing a traffic hazard.

22-004064- 3500 block Missionaire Avenue- Alarm-

Police responded to check a residence. On scene officers found an open door. The residence was cleared, and nothing was found. The incident appeared to be weather related.

Night Shift

3600 block Ringgold Road / Drugs for resale:

During an encounter at this location following a suspicious vehicle police arrested Jamal Goodman, Kendra Ingram and Tarek Baker for multiple drugs for resale. Police seized 1.2 grams of meth, 4.1 grams of crack cocaine, 5.3 grams of heroin,1 gram of fentanyl pressed pills, 3.2 grams of Klonopin, and $454 in cash. (22-004088)

4214 Ringgold Rd/ warrant service:

Jamal Goodman was served with outstanding warrants for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and improper license. (22-004091)

6700 block Ringgold Rd/Arrest-Drugs for resale:

A suspicious vehicle was observed at this location and a consensual encounter with a male subject led to the discovery of pressed Roxicodone, fentanyl, and gabapentin. The man was taken into custody and transported to Silverdale. (22-004085)

3600 block Indian Trail / Harassment:

The caller spoke to police regarding her neighbors making threats towards her. She told police her neighbor was making threats to have her and her dog killed by animal control when her dog was outside of the residence. The caller did not wish to pursue charges but wanted police to be notified of the incident. (22-004069)

500 block Benson Drive / Theft of Property:

A man advised during the time he was being arrested another individual sold his Craftsman toolbox worth $200 to somebody for $20. He was unsure if the sale of the toolbox occurred in Tennessee or Georgia. A report is on file for the incident. (22-004083)

3100 block West Side Drive / Arrest:

A woman was arrested following a traffic stop at this location for an outstanding warrant out of Hamilton County for Theft of Property. (22-004089)
