Police Briefs for Sept. 10

The following information was compiled from East Ridge Police Department “pass along” reports.

Sept. 9 Day Shift

6956 Glen Errol Way (DOA):

A man discovered his father passed away in his bedroom when he stopped by to check on him after not hearing from him since Thursday.  CID and the ME responded, and the body was transported to the medical examiner’s office. 

200 Bales Ave:

Police were dispatched to the area regarding two white males in a vehicle parked in front of the RPs house. Upon making contact with them, the driver advised that a tire fell off of his vehicle and he was waiting for a wrecker.

173 Cecil Ln:

Police responded to an unknown 911 at this location. Upon arrival, the resident advised that she let someone use her phone but did not know where she went. Nothing was located.

1020 Wynnwood Dr:

Police were dispatched to an abandon auto at this location. The vehicle was gone upon police arrival

4145 Ringgold Rd. Apt 125:

Police were dispatched to check the wellbeing of the resident, who is bedridden and under the care of her sister. Police spoke with the resident.  She was in good spirits. She advised that her sister was doing a fantastic job of taking care of her.

1459 Mack Smith Rd:

Police were dispatched to check a suspicious vehicle. The occupant was an uber driver awaiting fares.

4134 Ringgold Rd:

Police were dispatched to Jones Memorial to check on a female party who was acting strange. She was gone prior to police arrival.

6105 Ringgold Rd:

Two vehicle head on crash no injuries.

Night Shift

3923 Sherlin Dr. (DOA):

A man was found deceased inside of his home by a neighbor.

4214 Ringgold Road/Arrest Warrant:

Jeremy Wynn was arrested on an East Ridge Warrant while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.

508 Wando Dr Apt B/Aggravated Burglary:

The resident reported that his house was entered and property was taken while he was out of town on vacation. CID responded and collected evidence.

5800 Ringgold Road/Consensual encounter:

A male subject was transported to Parkridge East after a consensual encounter and he stated to police he was suicidal.

4214 Ringgold Road/Arrest Warrant:

Trevor Lane was arrested on an East Ridge Warrant while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.

6200 Ringgold Rd (public intox):

Police were dispatched to this location regarding a male that was passed out in the grass. Upon arrival, contact was made with Lamont Gamble, who police had been out with multiple times earlier in the day. Mr. Gamble admitted to being high on meth. Mr. Gamble was taken into custody for public intoxication.

728 Frawley Rd (improperly parked vehicle):

Police were called to the Park Ridge Apartments regarding an improperly parked vehicle in front of the 300 building. Upon arrival, police contacted the resident in 319 and ask her to move her car so that another tenant could leave. Both parties complied.

I24 mm 183. (crash):

A white Lexus rear ended a Ford Explorer. A report was completed and both parties were able to drive their vehicles from the scene.

1517 Tombras Ave (Alarm):

Police responded to an alarm at the City Hall and found that a worker had tripped a sensor by mistake.
