Police Briefs for Sept. 5

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.

Sept. 4 Day Shift

5707 Ringgold Road (theft):

A white male and white female stole approximately twenty-five packs of bacon from the Dollar General. They left in an older, dark blue sedan.

6650 Ringgold Road (disorder):

David Moran was escorted off the property of La Quinta Inn and criminally trespassed after he became hostile with staff over a clogged toilet.

1914 Close Road (auto theft):

The resident had her dark  blue 2012 Nissan Versa stolen after she left it in the driveway with the keys in the ignition. The vehicle was entered into NCIC. TN tag A30-24V

929 Spring Creek Rd (theft):

The office manager for Women’s Priority Healthcare reported that an ex-employee, Abby Jones, stole a prescription pad and has been fraudulently obtaining pain meds at local Walgreen’s in Chattanooga.  A warrant for the theft of the prescription pad will be sought against Ms. Jones

3710 Fountain Avenue (theft):

The resident reported the theft of a trash can at this location.

I-24 Westbound (unknown medical):

Police responded to an unconscious person on the side of the interstate, but the party was gone upon police arrival.

1014 John Ross Road (medical):

School staff contacted police after a parent arrived at school possibly intoxicated. Police made contact with the parent who had not been drinking. The parent had just been placed on a new medication by her doctor and had taken it earlier in the morning. School staff stated the parent had been fine when she initially dropped her child off at school in the morning, and staff stated the parent had never exhibited this kind of behavior before. The parent’s mother was contacted, and she arrived on scene to take her daughter and her grandchild home.

4909 Fike Drive (theft):

The complainant gave his debit card to a home healthcare worker to care for his dog while he spent an extended stay at the Life Care Center of East Ridge. The complainant has discovered almost $3,200 missing from his bank account from multiple charges and withdrawals.

Night Shift

4405 Ringgold Rd (Disorder):

Police responded to a disorder in the Advanced Auto Parts parking lot.  On scene, police met with males and one female who matched the provided suspect information.  Upon further investigation, police determined that the disorder was verbal only and no assault occurred.  No weapons were located the scene.

500 Signal Mountain Road (Warrant Service):

Christopher Stoker was arrested on an active East Ridge Arrest Warrant for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail by Red Bank PD.

6700 Ringgold Rd (Warrant):

Brandon Royer was arrested for an East Ridge warrant for Alias Capias for driving while revoked following a traffic stop at this location.

6300 Ringgold Rd. (Crash):

Police were dispatched to a vehicle crash in front of the Krystal Restaurant.  There were no injuries.

4112 Sweet Street. (Unconscious Female):

 Police were dispatched to this location regarding an unconscious party.  ER Fire was already on scene as well as Puckett EMS. The subject was treated and transported to Parkridge East Hospital by Puckett EMS.
