The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”
Dec. 14 Day Shift
4214 Ringgold Road (warrant service):
Zachary Holbrecht was detained by an HCSO deputy in Tiftonia and transferred to ERPD for transport to Silverdale. (21-018005)
3306 Ringgold Road (illegal burning ):
A man and a woman were found behind Linda’s Produce warming themselves with a small fire. The homeless couple said they came up the wooded hill to stay out of sight and get warm the previous night. ERFD extinguished the fire, and officers asked the couple to leave the area. (21-018008)
4300 Ringgold Rd ( Unknown Trouble 21-018032):
Police responded to reports of a person possibly shot. Officers conducted an exhaustive search of the area and nothing was located. Officers also checked the area of 950 Spring Creek Rd.
5300 Oakdale Ave (Arrest 21-018029):
Kristin Morrman was arrested for evading arrest on foot and driving with a revoked license.
4214 Ringgold Rd (Miscellaneous 21-018020):
A woman came to ERPD to inquire about a letter she received from the Budgetel, where she is a guest. The letter stated her tags were out of date on her vehicle and ERPD would be fining her $500 if she didn’t renew them and they would tow her vehicle. She was informed by officers at the police department this was not true. A security officer with Budgetel called in inquiring about what they can do with expired tags on their property. Police explained they cannot be handing out letters representing ERPD stating residents will be fined $500 for expired tags. Officers had additional interactions with residents of Budgetel concerning the letters while conducting a business check there later in the evening.
5400 block Clemons Road (Drug Overdose 21-018030):
Officers responded to a drug overdose at this location and observed a male subject laying on the kitchen floor displaying signs of troubled breathing. Police administered sternum rubs and one dose of Narcan until EMS arrived. The man was transported to a local hospital by EMS.
6513 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-018038):
John Sparks was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and indecent exposure. Sparks had become disorderly inside the Waffle House and then urinated on the front door of the restaurant.
6100 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-018033):
Andrew Beatrice was taken into custody on an East Ridge warrant for driving on suspended. While at Silverdale it was discovered Beatrice was in possession of a syringe, methamphetamine and alprazolam. He was additionally charged with the narcotics, drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence.
1000 block Greenslake Rd (Disorder 21-018036):
Police responded to a disorder between a male subject, his son, and his son’s girlfriend. The male subject has a history of domestic assault and the other parties felt unsafe around him. While on scene, police learned that the male subject assaulted his son with a cooking pot in September and police observed photos of injuries.
