Dec. 22 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

Dec. 20 Day Shift

21-018322- 6501 Slater Road- Suspicious People

The caller advised of two homeless people sleeping in front of the business. On scene police encountered Nicholas W. and Elizabeth Prestridge. Following a consensual search of their belongings police found a small piece of plastic containing methamphetamine and several items of drug paraphernalia in Prestridge’s bag. She advised the items did belong to her. She was placed under arrest and transported to Silverdale for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Evidence was collected and secured in property and evidence.

No number assigned- 1503 McDonald Road – AOA/Medical

Police were dispatched with Fire and EMS on a difficulty breathing call at the motel. While en route the call was upgraded to CPR in progress. On scene police assisted EMS. The patient was transported to Parkridge East.

21-018323- 6642 Ringgold Road- Suspicious Activity

The caller advised of an adult female with no teeth and several juveniles in the parking lot of the Econo Lodge doing drugs. On scene police checked the area with nothing located. Police also checked the surrounding motels with no luck.

21-018328- 941 Spring Creek Road- Fight/Mental Health Consumer

The caller advised a CON patient was physically fighting with hospital security officers. On scene she was taken into custody and charged accordingly. She was taken to Silverdale without incident.

21-018329- 500 block Cedar Glen Circle- Disorder

Police were called back a second time due to the same incident. On scene police encountered Danielle Bates. She was requesting assistance with getting her property. She was checked for warrants and an East Ridge warrant was located. She was transported to Silverdale. Her mother remained on scene and gathered her belongings.

Night Shift

3715 Ringgold Road / Car Jacking 21-018332

A female subject reported a theft of her vehicle at this location. After speaking to her, it was determined her vehicle was taken by force. The suspect is her son, who suffers from schizophrenia. The vehicle, a 2002 gray Toyota Camry with a cracked windshield bearing Tennessee registration BDR136, was entered into NCIC as stolen.  Warrants are pending for the suspect’s arrest.

5707 Ringgold Road / Arrest

Skylar Garrison was arrested for criminal impersonation and two Collegedale warrants following a traffic stop at this location. His wife, Brianna Garrison, was issued a misdemeanor citation for simple possession. (21-018340)

1607 Truman Ave (Theft / Fraud 21-018335)

Police responded to a deceptive practice at this location. The complainant reported two checks stolen from her mailbox, washed, and fraudulently cashed. Police will follow up for possible suspect information—report on file.

6001 Welworth Ave (Traffic Stop / Arrest 21-018349)

Malik Beavers was taken into custody for possession of schedule VI for resale, possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop at this location.
