Feb. 21 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

February 18 – Day Shift

22-002306- 5332 Oakdale Avenue- Warrant Service/Search Warrant-

Courtney Mayo was arrested on drug charges following a search warrant service at this address. Four adults and a juvenile were also in the residence. Charges will be pending further investigation.

22-002309- 1410 Mack Smith Road- AOA Warrant Service-

Angel Epperson was detained on Murray County, Georgia warrants and transported to Silverdale for extradition.

22-002311- 6400 blk of Ringgold Road- AOA Warrant Service/Hit and Run Crash-

Samantha Hernandez was detained and transported to Silverdale on Franklin County, Tennessee warrants following a hit and run traffic crash.

 February 18 – Night Shift

3600 block Helen Lane(Stolen Vehicle/Agg Assault)(22-002326)

Police were dispatched to the area regarding a suspicious vehicle and four males fighting in the road. Upon arrival police observed a black Nissan Rogue occupied 4x. The tag on the vehicle 5S46Z7 was reported stolen from Ridgeside on 02/17/22. Police attempted to get out with the vehicle and the vehicle took off at a high rate of speed. The vehicle fleeing the area almost struck an ERPD patrol car head on. Police engaged in a pursuit that was terminated on Dodds Avenue.

1200 Reeves Ave/Warrant Service(22-002335)

Kevin Williams was arrested for an East Ridge warrant during a traffic stop at this location. 

Ringgold Road/ San His(warrant service)

Frank Williams was arrested on a Hamilton County Warrant during a traffic stop at this location.

5517 Ringgold Road/Criminal Trespass/Warrant Service(22-002348)

Travis Stringfield was trespassed form the Suds & Shine at the request of the owner. Stringfield was arrested on an East Ridge Warrant.

John Ross @ Shirl Jo/Drug possession:

A traffic stop was initiated on a suspicious vehicle and subsequently the driver, Nicholas Johnson, was found to have methamphetamine on his person.  22-002336

6650 Ringgold Rd (La Quinta)/ Drugs for resale:

Units responded to a disorderly and encountered Milton Fox. Drug paraphernalia was in plain view and a consent search was completed. A search of the room yielded approximately eight ounces of methamphetamine, a large amount of US Currency, and items consistent with distribution.  22-002343

1100 block S. St. Marks Ave / Aggravated Assault-Domestic: 

Donzilla Gaines was arrested for Aggravated Domestic Assault on a juvenile male in her care.  22-002327

5501 Ringgold Road / Disorder:

Amanda Alexander was taken into custody for theft under $1,000 after Clayton Homes management observed her taking home décor items out of the model homes and putting it into her vehicle. She also left 15 windows in several model homes open, supposedly so that she or someone else could return. All of the stolen items were recovered on scene. (22-002324)

February 19 – Day Shift

22-002349- 600 block Marlboro Avenue- Arrest-

Jasper Kroll was arrested at this address and charged with violating a protection order and criminal impersonation. He was transported to the county jail with no issue.

4134 Ringgold Road (the old Jenkins Buffet)- Extra Patrol/Watch-

The caller advises people are entering the vacant business attempting to live there. The unknown individuals are entering the building through a rear door.

No number assigned- 6408 Ringgold Road- AOA Warrant Service-

Steven Wilson was detained and transported to Silverdale on a Red Bank warrant following a traffic stop at this location.

22-002364- 3657 Ringgold Road- Suspicious Vehicle-

The caller advised of a suspicious white car parked at the construction site. On scene police spoke with a construction worker. He advised he and his crew have been on site since 0500 hours with no issues. While speaking with the worker he requested an extra watch on the property during the nighttime hours while the building is still under construction.

22-002370- 6650 Ringgold Road- Disorder Prevention-

The caller requested police stand by while a former guest gathered his belongings. On scene officers encountered Milton Fox. He was highly agitated and somewhat uncooperative. He was able to retrieve his property and leave the motel. Before he left, he was issued a criminal trespass warning.

 February 19 – Night Shift

400 block Dunlap Avenue / Vandalism: 

A 13-year-old juvenile was taken into custody for vandalism after police were called to this residence due to windows being shattered on three vehicles in the driveway. There was also another juvenile suspect, but he was released to his mother due to being only 10 years old. Both juveniles denied having anything to do with the broken windows, despite being found on the property at the time of the vandalism. 22-002384

Ringgold Road at McBrien Rd/ Felony Evading: 

Police observed a vehicle at Ringgold Road and McBrien Road believed to be involved in the sale of narcotics.  A traffic stop was conducted at which point the driver, James Weiss, fled.  As Weiss fled he drove in a reckless manner consistent with being under the influence.  The chase was discontinued near Sunbeam Ave.  Moments later Weiss was observed abandoning the vehicle and fleeing on foot on Mayfair Ave.  After a foot pursuit Weiss was apprehended.  22-002385

Interstate 24 East Bound /Pursuit: 

ERPD initiated a pursuit with a shooting suspect vehicle on Interstate 24 East just before East Ridge. The vehicle fled from police till the dead end of Claremont Circle. The occupants of the vehicle fled on foot and the driver was captured. CPD took possession of the juvenile driver and vehicle.  22-002379

6404 Ringgold Road/Warrant Service: 

Lucas Hixon was arrested on a Red Bank warrant during a consensual encounter at this location.

623 Camp Jordan Parkway / Warrant service: 

Christopher Pierce was taken into custody during a traffic stop for an East Ridge alias/capias warrant for driving on suspended.  22-002378

7104 Moreview Road / Assist Other Agency: 

ERPD was asked by Chattanooga PD to attempt to locate a vehicle at this residence in relation to an aggravated burglary and kidnapping in Chattanooga.  Police located the suspect vehicle which was observed to be a grey Nissan Altima.  The suspect, Gary Sherrod, and a juvenile female were inside the vehicle at the time police made contact with both parties.  Sherrod was detained while Chattanooga PD responded.  Chattanooga PD took Sherrod into custody for the listed offenses and the juvenile was released to her father.  22-002388
