At approximately 3:00 a.m. on the morning of December 3, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the 7700 block of Lee Highway. As the deputy returned to his patrol vehicle to verify identification, the passenger exited and the driver fled, initiating a pursuit.
Deputies utilized a PIT maneuver, causing the suspect vehicle to slow before ultimately crashing into a Chrysler van. The driver, Seth Livingston, fled on foot but was apprehended after a brief foot pursuit. He was taken to a local hospital for medical review and then transported to the Hamilton County Jail and Detention Center where he was charged with the following: Evading Arrest, Reckless Endangerment, Resisting Arrests, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Violation of Probation, and numerous traffic related charges.
