Law and Order August 8

The following information is courtesy of the East Ridge Police Department.

Day Shift August 7: B Squad

25-008319- 5300 BLK Bennett Road- Warrant Service – A man and woman were each served at their residence on active extraditable warrants out of Georgia. A search warrant had to be secured for the residence due to both parties not wanting to exit the premises. When police searched the male, they discovered 0.9 Grams of narcotics. Warrants will be sought against him for Possession of Methamphetamine.

25-008322 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Theft from Vehicle – A resident reported a delayed theft from his vehicle. According to the victim, sometime during the afternoon of 08/05/2025, an unknown subject removed a weed eater from the bed of his pickup truck. Police contacted the business in an attempt to determine if there was surveillance of the incident.

Night Shift August 7: D Squad

25-008331- 3500 BLK Ringgold Rd- Found Property – A bystander located a phone and a pair of car keys on the side of the road. The items were placed into property and evidence.

25-008332- 1500 BLK Karwill Lane- Miscellaneous – The persistent caller was informed again that police will not prosecute young children for taking tomatoes. She was asked again to speak to their parents.

25-008333- 1500 BLK Keeble St – Traffic Stop/Warrant Service – Following a traffic stop, a party was arrested on an East Ridge warrant. The warrant was an Alias Capias for driving on a revoked, suspended, or cancelled license.

25-008337- 4214 Ringgold Rd- Warrant Service – A man was served with an East Ridge warrant for Assault on a first responder. A hold request was sent to Bradley County.

25-008338- 4214 Ringgold Rd- Warrant Service – A man was served with an East Ridge warrant while at the jail. The warrant was an Alias Capias for driving on a revoked, suspended, or cancelled license.

25-008339- 5700 BLK Ringgold Rd- Arrest – A subject was arrested on a traffic stop for Possession of Meth with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Window Tint violation.
