Law and Order July 11

The following information is courtesy of the East Ridge Police Department.

Day Shift July 10

25-007339 – 1300 BLK Laredo Avenue – Found Property – Police responded to this location after the caller reported her children found a rusted 9mm Glock handgun in the large drainage ditch. Police recovered the firearm and secured it in property and evidence.

25-006943 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A man was served with a warrant for Cruelty to Animals.

25-007347 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive – Narcotics Arrest – Patrol assisted Crime Suppression with stopping a gold Honda Accord after the occupants were observed in a hand-to-hand narcotics transaction with a silver Nissan Maxima. All participants were detained, and the driver passenger were arrest for possession of Schedule II and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.

Night Shift July 10

25-007356 – 700 BLK S Seminole Drive – DUI/Disorder – A man was arrested for DUI after backing into a driveway gate and causing a disturbance to the residents. During vehicle inventory police discovered four empty pints of vodka in the passenger floorboard of the defendant’s white Ford Fiesta.

25-007362 – 200 BLK Brookwood Drive – Alarm – While patrolling the City of Ridgeside, the officer heard a residential alarm sounding. Police checked the premises for signs of intrusion. No signs of a break-in were detected. Dispatch left a voicemail with the resident from historical data.

25-007363 – 3200 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – While patrolling the west three juveniles were observed on foot after curfew. Police returned the juveniles to their home with a verbal warning about the city’s juvenile curfew violation.

25-007359 – 100 BLK Kingwood Drive – Noise Complaint – Police responded to the area in reference to fireworks. The fireworks stopped prior to arrival.

25-007358 – 4300 Block Ringgold Road – Traffic stop / Arrest – During a traffic stop at the above location, a man was taken into custody after he was found to have a valid warrant through Hamilton County Sessions Court. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.

25-007361 – 100 BLK Fawn Drive – Domestic Assault – A caller notified 911 and reported her father was hitting her mom. The suspect had left the scene prior to police arrival. A warrant for domestic assault was obtained.
