Law and Order July 24

Day Shift July 23

25-007759 – 900 BLK DONALDSON Road– Domestic Disorder – Police responded to this location after the father of the resident reported a delayed disorder between his daughter and her husband. The resident stated she and her husband were in a loud verbal altercation, which rose to a serious enough level for her children to become concerned and call for their grandfather to come help. She claimed the argument was only verbal in nature, however, her husband did threaten to damage items in the house and damage their shared vehicle. The husband left the residence prior to police arrival. Police advised the parties on how to obtain a protection order.

25-007756 – 3500 BLK Ringgold Road – Motor Vehicle Collision with Injuries – Police responded to this location after a motorcycle collided with a car. After arriving on scene, officers determined the motorcycle operator had a revoked license and was in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to an area hospital for his injuries, but warrants are being sought for Driving on Revoked License, Driving without a Motorcycle License, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Night Shift July 23

25-007768- 1000 BLK Bass Pro Shop Dr- Suspicious Person – Police responded about a female attempting to purchase a firearm. TBI flagged the purchase and advised that the woman had an active arrest warrant through Van Buren County, TN. Officers located the female and confirmed the warrant. She was placed under arrest for Van Buren County and transported to Hamilton County jail.

25-007777 – 1400 BLK N Smith Street – Psychiatric Emergency – Officers responded to the above address after a woman called 911 and reported she felt physically dead and that God loved her. Officers observed her walking in the roadway, and she then asked the officers if she was dead. She was not found to be dead, but ERPD called for EMS to respond to the scene. EMS responded to the scene and determined she was not a danger to herself or others. She agreed to stay inside for the remainder of the night.
