Day Shift September 11 : A Squad

25-009615 & 25-009620 – 3600 BLK Helen Lane – Prowler – Police responded to the area after a resident observed, on a Ring camera, a male walking through her yard near the front porch before disappearing out of view at approximately 0600 hours. The resident stated that another incident with two unknown males approached the residence on 08/24 at 1800 hours, rang the camera and left after the owner acknowledged their presence. She requested to have her house added to the watch list. Police were also alerted by the residents at the adjacent property that they also had an unknown visitor approach their porch. Security floodlights activated and the unknown person walked away from the property. Watch #25-000028

25-009628 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder w/ Weapon – Police responded after a customer concealed a candy bar and threatened the clerk with an aluminum baseball bat when confronted. Police contacted the suspect in the 1400 block of South Moore Road. The man was briefly detained while police spoke with the clerk. The store clerk did not want to prosecute but did want the subject trespassed from the property.

25-009630 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd.- Back-up EMS – Police were requested to the motel at the request of EMS due to a male who had called complaining of chest pain. Dispatched advised the male had called and stated he had been smoking methamphetamine for two hours. On arrival, EMS had already loaded the man into the ambulance to begin transport.

25-009619 – 1200 BLK Reeves Avenue – Deceptive Practice – The caller reported that he was swindled out of $150 after an unknown caller identified themselves as a Hamilton County Deputy and said he had to pay for an active warrant to avoid arrest. Pending identification of the suspect, the victim wishes to prosecute for theft.

Night Shift September 11: C Squad

25-009612 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Search Warrant – Police Officers provided the hospital with a search warrant for evidence related to a DUI motor vehicle crash investigation. The staff complied with the search warrant, and the evidence was placed in the ERPD Property Room.

25-009160 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – Police Officers arrested a party in the parking lot of her apartment complex. She had an active arrest warrant for Child Neglect through the City of East Ridge. The woman complied with all Police instructions and was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.

25-009640 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – During a warrant service, a man began yelling at Police and approached officers in an aggressive posture. Police determined that he was upset that his mother was being arrested. Police quickly deescalated the situation and kept him from interrupting the arrest procedures. Police officers completed the warrant service and departed the area.

25-009642 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – Police responded to the business after an employee observed a male in a gray sweatshirt circling the building and checking the doors. Police checked the business and the surrounding area but were unable to locate the suspicious person.
