Day Shift September 16 : A Squad
25-009801 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Rd. – SIA / Field Interview – During routine patrol, police observed an unconscious female laying behind the motel near Old Ringgold Road. Officers attempted to contact the woman; however, she was not responding to police. A guest of the hotel exited her room and woke the slumbering female. She was identified and stated she was stressed out and recently was unable to afford the room she had been staying in. She was checked for warrants and advised that if management asks her to vacate the premise she would need to do so without issue.
25-009799 – 1300 BLK Laredo Avenue – Animal Call – ERPD responded to assist ERAS with two abandoned dogs that were previously running at large. The late owner had willed the animals to his estate, who took over the property after the dog’s primary caregiver was evicted the week prior. The owner stated she would re-home the dogs to a relative.
25-009789 – 3300 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop/Arrest – Following a traffic stop at this location, a man was taken into custody for Driving While License Revoked – DUI.
25-009802/05 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Rd – Suspicious Person / Arrest / Warrant Service – A party called police to report her ex- boyfriend walked past her residence and possibly had a warrant. Police canvassed the area and took the subject into custody after a brief foot pursuit. He was charged with evading arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia, along with the outstanding East Ridge Petition to Revoke for possession of a controlled substance.
25-009772 – 4214 Ringgold Rd – Warrant Service – A woman was arrested on outstanding East Ridge warrants for Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Due Care.
Night Shift September 16: C Squad
25-009809 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Warrant service – A concerned citizen reported that a party was at a business, and had several active warrants. Police found that she had two arrest warrants through the City of East Ridge and two arrest warrants through the Hamilton County Sessions Court. The original charges for all warrants were all drug related. Police Officers checked the area and located the wanted party sitting on the sidewalk outside the store. She was taken into custody and transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
25-009810 – 1100 BLK South Seminole Drive – Assist Other Agency – The St George Police Department in Utah requested support in locating a felony fraud suspect. The listed residence was on South Seminole Drive. Police Officers went to the residence and located the homeowner. Officers found that the fugitive never lived at the home but used the address without the owner’spermission for several financial transactions and his driver’s license. Police provided the St George PD with an update on the situation.
25-009811 – I-24 Westbound, MM 183 – Assist Other Agency – An Investigator with the ERPD Crime Suppression Unit initiated a traffic stop with a black Dodge Charger on I-24 Westbound. During the traffic stop, the driver was found to have several active Federal arrest warrants. ERPD Patrol units responded to the location to assist with the arrest. The suspect was taken into custody without issue, and he was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
25-009813 – 700 BLK Germantown Circle – Disorder – Police Officers responded to a disorder at this location and found two neighbors were arguing over trash in their common stairwell. ERPD determined the disorder was verbal in nature. The subjects were asked to leave each other alone for the evening.
25-009814 – 1100 BLK Spring Creek Rd – Pedestrian Struck – Police responded to the report of a Pedestrian Struck at this location. On scene, officers found that a male subject had been hit by the right-side mirror of a passing vehicle. The victim was unable to provide an accurate description of the vehicle and suspect driver. Patrol Officers checked the area for video footage of the incident but found nothing conclusive. The victim denied EMS and left the area on foot. The investigation is on-going.
25-009820 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Assist Other Agency – During a traffic stop, Police Officers found a vehicle passenger had a Failure to Appear warrant through Hamilton County Court. Police arrested her and transported her to the Hamilton County Jail without incident. The original charge on the warrant was Theft of Property.
25-009821 – 1500 BLK Fruitland Avenue – Theft – A man reported several items were taken from his vehicle while he was visiting this residence. He believed a known male party was the culprit based on a text message conversation. Police requested copies of the text messages and serial numbers for the stolen items. Officers also attempted to contact the suspect at his residence, but he was not located.
25-009824 – 4100 BLK East Ridge Drive – Suspicious Activity – Police responded to this home after a resident reported the sound of dogs barking in their basement. The resident also stated they did not own dogs. Officers searched the basement and found two dogs. Police were able to remove the dogs from the home, but the animals’ owners have not been located.
25-009826 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Found Property – Police responded to an auto generated report of a motor vehicle crash with unknown injuries. ERPD did not locate any evidence of wreck. Upon further investigation, Dispatch determined the source of the alert was an iPhone in the area. Police eventually located a damaged iPhone in the roadway and determined it most likely fell from a moving vehicle. Officers could not determine the owner of the iPhone, and it was placed in the ERPD Property and Evidence Room for safekeeping.
