Police Briefs for Aug. 27

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.

August 25 Day Shift

22-011913- 6510 Ringgold Road- Disorder-

The caller advised a rude guest was refusing to leave. On scene the male was not at the room. They advised they would call back if there were any more issues.

22-011914- 4400 Bennett Road- Unconscious Person-

Police responded with ERFD and EMS on an unconscious student. On scene police stood by while EMS handled the call. The student was transported to the hospital.

22-011916- 1676 Keeble Street- Suspicious Person/Warrant Service-

The caller advised she observed an unknown female lurking around in her back yard. On scene officers encountered Sharla Ball/Bradley. She was found to have East Ridge warrants. She was transported to Silverdale.

22-011923- 1000 block McBrien Road- Possible Overdose-

The caller advised a three-year-old accidently swallowed medication. On scene police stood by while EMS handled the call. The child was transported to the hospital.

Night Shift

5506 Ringgold Road / Public Intoxication 22-011930: 

Police were dispatched to East Ridge Auto Alignment regarding an unconscious male party slumped on the sidewalk. Police contacted Matthew Edwards, who did appear to be heavily impaired on a controlled substance. He was taken into custody for Public Intoxication. Also, he had multiple extraditable warrants out of Catoosa County.

3500 block Shelby Circle / Arrest-other 22-011934: 

After responding to this location, it was determined Jayson Mitchell was in violation of an order of protection. He was placed under arrest without incident.

5418 Ringgold Rd / Warrant Service 22-011938:

Travis Stringfield was taken into custody on active East Ridge Warrants.

6642 Ringgold Road / Assist other Agency – Warrant Service 22-011939: 

Davonte Cater and Samuel Giles were issued a Criminal Trespass Warning following a verbal disorder at the Econo Lodge.  Giles was determined to have active warrants out of Hamilton County and was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.  Cater was sent on his way.

3600 Ringgold Rd / Evading 22-011944: 

Brandon Humphrey evaded a traffic stop at this location. Police deployed their department issued taser, however it was ineffective. Warrants are being sought for his arrest for Evading Arrest. Report on file.

3657 Ringgold Road / Evading Arrest 22-011946: 

Jason Brammer ran from police at this location.  Warrant applied for.
