June 29 Police Briefs

The following information is courtesy of the East Ridge Police Department.

Day Shift June 28

23-007975- 800 BLK Belvoir Crest Drive- Disorder/Theft/Wanted Person- Police spoke with a female sitting on her front porch. She advised her mother, had taken her vehicle (grey Cadillac SRX) without her consent and had stolen money from her purse. She also took prescription medication. The suspect was gone on police arrival. Police checked the surrounding area and did not locate her. She was last seen walking north on Belvoir Avenue wearing a white tank top. Police will seek warrants for joyriding and theft.

Night Shift June 28

23-008005 – 1300 BLK John Ross Road– Disorder – Police responded to this location regarding a male subject refusing to leave her property. Police spoke with the RP who advised her ex-boyfriend was refusing to leave. The male subject had left before police arrival. The man was located in the 3900 block of Bennett Road. He had a valid warrant from Catoosa County and was transported to Hamilton County Jail.

23-008006 – 5000 BLK South Terrace – Warrant Service – Following a traffic stop, police detained and transported a woman due to a county arrest warrant.

23-008014 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – Domestic Disorder – Police were dispatched to the area of 5300 Ringgold Road after receiving a call for a female yelling for help. Prior to arrival the reporting party stated both parties left in a white truck north on McBrien. Police conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and discovered the incident to be a verbal altercation.

He was among reporters who were honored by the Associated Press for the TFP's coverage of the 2002 fog-shrouded crash on I-75 in Catoosa County, Dick and his wife, Cathy, live on Marlboro Avenue where they are seen frequently chasing around their three grandsons.
