Police Briefs for Sept. 27

Day Shift September 26

23-012258 –Ringgold RD at Mack Smith Rd –Hit and Run- A white box truck struck an SUV and left the scene traveling eastbound on Ringgold Rd. The driver of the SUV was checked by EMS personnel. The officer on scene received the registration plate info for the suspect vehicle.

23-011286 –4214 Ringgold RD –Stolen Vehicle Recovery– Chattanooga Police Department recovered a 2016 Honda that was reported stolen from East Ridge earlier in the month. The vehicle was recovered in CPD’s jurisdiction. The owner was advised where the vehicle was towed.

23-011622 -4214 Ringgold RD -Stolen Registration Plate Recovery- Chattanooga Police recovered a stolen registration plate in CPD jurisdiction. A report of the recovery was made.

23-012264 – 4100 BLK Ringgold RD – Theft- Police took a theft report by phone regarding his wedding band that was stolen from this address the day prior.

Night Shift September 26

23-012271 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – Police responded to a suspicious party in the restroom. Employees told police an unknown party was using the men’s restroom for one hour and making strange noises and requested a wellness check. The subject was arrested for Possession of Sched II Narcotics and Drug Paraphernalia after police identified drug paraphernalia protruding from his pocket.

23-012274 – 3400 BLK Lisa Drive – Disorder – Police responded to this location for a disorder between multiple kids. Police spoke with the mothers and instructed all parties to separate from one another. Nothing further.

23-012275 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Services – Police serviced three warrants on a party who was at the Hamilton County Jail. The warrants were Child Endangerment, Vandalism and Simple Assault (Domestic).

23-012281 – 3500 BLK Cathy Lane – Arrest-Drugs – Following a traffic stop, and a K-9 sniff of his vehicle, a man was arrested for Possession of Fentanyl for Resale, Possession of Meth, Possession of Legend Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Tampering with Evidence, Possession of Firearm During the Commission of a Felony and Felon in Possession of Firearm.
