Day Shift October 17
23-013125 – 4300 BLK Lazard Street – Automobile Theft – Police responded to this address to investigate a Kia Sol that had been vandalized in an attempted auto theft.
23-013133 – 500 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Disorder – Management staff requested police trespass a man from the business. He had allegedly made lewd comments about the wait staff.
Night Shift October 17
23-013151 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft – Employees reported a female exited the business passing all points of sale without paying for the items in her cart. The individual left the scene in a gold Ford Taurus with a handicap tag. The individual was later identified, and warrants are being sought for shoplifting and driving on revoked.
23-013116 – 4300 BLK Esterbrook Drive – Warrant Service – Police placed a man into custody for an active warrant for disorderly conduct. He was transported to The Hamilton County Jail with no issues.
23-013149 – 5700 BLK Roper Street – Deceptive Practice – The victim reported to police that she had been scammed. She gave an individual that she knows only as “Brad” her bank account information. “Brad” then sent $12,000 into her account and asked her to send money to different accounts via cash app and bitcoin. After she sent the money to the wrong person, “Brad” became angry and started threatening her, stating he knows where she lives as well as her family name and addresses. The victim was advised on best practices after experiencing a fraud.
23-13152 – 1700 BLK Tombras Avenue – Vandalism – The reporting party at this residence contacted ERPD Dispatch requesting a report regarding vandalism. Upon police arrival, they were able to determine someone amongst a large group of juveniles threw a rock which resulted in a broken storm door at this location. The reporting party denied a police report to be filed, however, requested additional patrol in the area.
23-013161 – 3300 BLK Ringgold Road – Business Alarm – Police responded to a burglar alarm. The alarm showed movement in the bar area. Police checked the exterior doors and windows but found no signs of forced entry or other damage.
