Day Shift January 24

24-000997- 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway- Panhandler- The caller advised of a male in the lot begging customers for money. On scene officers encountered the man. He was given a courtesy ride to his residence on Saint Thomas Street.

24-001022- 7600 BLK Standifer Gap Road- Warrant Service- A man was arrested and transported to jail on an East Ridge warrant.

Night Shift January 24

24-001022 – 1900 BLK Northpointe Boulevard – Warrant – CPD apprehended a man at Home Depot in Hixon with the aid of the store’s loss prevention officer after observing the suspect attempting to steal a vacuum cleaner. CPD detained the shoplifter and held him on scene until East Ridge arrested him on Alias Capias warrants for Driving on Suspended/Revoked.

24-001030 – 1600 BLK Mack Smith Road – Domestic Disorder – A man was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic assault, two counts of child endangerment, false imprisonment, and interference with 911. Report on file.

24-001043 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft – Police spoke with a man who stated he was working out at a private gym, finished his workout, and could not locate his key fob that was hanging on the wall inside the business. He stated he would check back with the business during regular business hours to review surveillance camera footage in efforts to identify possible suspects and be in touch with police to follow up. Nothing further currently.
