Police Briefs for July 3

Day Shift July 2

24-008432- 4214 Ringgold Rd- Warrant Service- A woman was arrested on an outstanding East Ridge Petition warrant for possession of controlled substance.

24-008420- 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive- Theft- A male approximately 300 pounds on a motorized cart was seen leaving without paying for a metal detector. Charges pending identification.

24-008415-300 BLK Ringgold Road- Theft- An employee reported that two unknown parties parked to the rear of the store taking 30 48” x 40” wood pallets without permission. The value of the pallets was estimated at $287.

Night Shift July 2

24-008406 – 1600 BLK Waterhouse Street – Suspicious Person – Police were dispatched for a suspicious person who appeared to be having trouble walking on Stateline Road. Police interviewed the party, who appeared to be suffering from arthritis.

24-008435 – 1100 BLK McBrien Rd – Assault PD Only– Officers responded to a call for an assault regarding multiple parties fighting at a residence. Upon arrival officers spoke to the reporting party who stated multiple female juveniles came to her residence to fight her juvenile daughter. After attempting to make them leave, the reporting party was assaulted along with her daughter by the other female juveniles.

24-008450—300 BLK Camp Jordan Pkwy—Citizen Check Well-Being- Police responded to Camp Jordan ballparks after concerned citizens called on a party found dancing in the open field and then falling to the ground. Police spoke to the man who was homeless and just trying to find somewhere to sleep for the night. No further incident occurred, and he left the scene after speaking with police.
