Police Briefs for Oct. 18

Day Shift October 17

24-013287 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – Police responded to this address for a party inside the lobby yelling at the concierge, demanding a refund. The woman was told she cannot rent a room for one night due to motel policy. After the police explained it to her and being trespassed, she left.

24-013294;3296;3297 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft – Police spoke with the asset protection clerk who stated he observed an employee “skip scan” on three separate days. The suspect had stolen approximately $100 worth of merchandise. Three complaint numbers were issued.

24-013300 – 3600 BLK Bennett Road – Overdose-Drugs – The caller reported a party as incoherent and “bouncing off the walls.” EMS responded. Drugs were located and collected, and warrants applied for. A CPS referral was done due to children being present.

Night Shift October 17

24-013312 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Broken Down Auto – Police assisted a motorist whose car broke down on the shoulder of the 6700 block of Ringgold Road. The automobile was moved off the roadway. No incident.

24-013306 – 6000 BLK Ringgold Rd – Traffic stop/Warrant service – Police initiated a traffic stop on a grey Ford Mustang after seeing it had no plates. The driver was found to have a suspended license. The vehicle had no insurance and had not been registered since 2009. He was found to have two Red Bank warrants. The man was transported to jail.
