Day Shift September 3: B Squad

25-009330- 3500 BLK Ringgold Road- Wellbeing Check – Police responded to a wellbeing check involving a party who appeared to be experiencing a medical episode. Hamilton County EMS Medic 13 responded and transported to the hospital for further evaluation.

25-009327- 5300 BLK Ringgold Road- SIA/ LPR Hit – Police got out with a party based on an LPR hit for a missing person. Hamilton County Dispatch confirmed that the party was still listed as missing. Police contacted the party who stated he was okay and would like to be removed from NCIC as missing. Police did a supplement to the Chattanooga Police Department’s Missing Person’s report, and the record was cleared.

25-009333- 1517 Tombras Ave- Missing/Endangered Adult – Police were called about a woman who had left the East Ridge Library after being dropped off by her father. Her father stated that the woman has mental health problems and had recently had a mental health episode. Police entered her into NCIC as missing. She was later found and removed from NCIC.

Night Shift September 3: D Squad

25-009341 – 400 BLK Lynncrest Drive – Distress Alarm – Police responded to investigate a distress alarm after it malfunctioned, sending a false alarm and alerting dispatch. No incident to report.

25-009345 – 5300 BLK Oakdale Avenue – Property – A property damage report was provided for a group home after a mental health consumer resident smashed a large hole in his bedroom door. The resident said he was angry because he couldn’t go talk to his teacher.

He was among reporters who were honored by the Associated Press for the TFP's coverage of the 2002 fog-shrouded crash on I-75 in Catoosa County, Dick and his wife, Cathy, live on Marlboro Avenue where they are seen frequently chasing around their three grandsons.
