Day Shift October 23 : A Squad
25-011173-5900 Ringgold Road-Wires Down – Police were dispatched to this address on reports of a power line down across Prater and Ringgold Road. The traffic lights located at Keeble and San His were out and most of the 5700 block and 5800 block of Ringgold Road were without power. EPB responded to the scene and eventually restored power.
25-011172 – 3600 BLK Wiley Avenue – Animals at Large – Police responded to the Wiley cul-de-sac on a report of two dogs aggressively approaching humans. Upon arrival the police were met by a pair of large dogs showing signs of aggression towards the police presence. East Ridge Animal Services arrived and took possession of the animals.
25-011188 – 1400 BLK N Smith Street – Deceptive Practice – Police spoke with the General Manager after they discovered a former employee came into the hotel on 10/17 and purchased a bottle of apple juice with a fake $100 bill. The suspect was given approximately $95 in change prior to him leaving the facility.
25-011191 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service – Collegedale PD notified dispatch they were out with a wanted party. He was found to have an active Forfeiture Capias warrant for driving on suspended. Collegedale transported the subject to Hamilton County Jail where he was served with the warrant.
Night Shift October 23: C Squad
25-011205 – 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway– Disorder / Assist Other Agency – The caller reported that her husband was being very aggressive toward her. On scene, police officers found that she was extremely intoxicated and provided inconsistent details for the incident. While speaking with the husband, police determined he had three arrest warrants through Catoosa County for Intimidation, Harassment, and Terroristic Threats. He was taken into custody and transported to Hamilton County Jail.
25-011207 – 3500 BLK Missionaire Avenue – Stolen Vehicle Recovery / Assist Other Agency – Police officers responded to the report of a suspicious vehicle at this location. ERPD located a gold Honda Odyssey in the roadway and determined it had been there for several hours. Upon further investigation, officers found the van was stolen out of Chattanooga. The vehicle owner was notified; however, the van was found to be inoperable. The vehicle was removed from NCIC, and the owner agreed to retrieve it from the scene within 24 hours.
25-011211 – 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway– Disorder / Alleged Assault – An earlier caller reported that her stepson’s grandmother attempted to hit her with a vehicle. She also stated that the woman took the juvenile without permission. Police officers found the juvenile had permission from his father to leave with his grandmother. It was also found that the woman was intoxicated and provided inconsistent information for the incident. The grandmother denied trying to hit the caller and police found no evidence of an assault.
25-011215 – 3100 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Assist Other Agency – Following a traffic stop, a man was taken into custody for an active arrest warrant through the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. The original charge was Possession of an Illegal Substance. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without issue.
25-011216 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service – While in custody at the Hamilton County Jail, a woman was served with a Forfeiture Capias warrant through the City of East Ridge. The original charge for the arrest warrant was Theft Over $1000.
