Day Shift November 20 : A Squad
25-012106 – Bennett Road/Schmidt Road – Suspicious Person – The high-school SRO requested patrol assist in locating an unknown male who was roaming the gymnasium and then walked off campus once a teacher confronted him. The party was located down the street, and the SRO identified him as a student. The male was then returned to the school.
25-012115 – 600 BLK Belvoir Avenue – Backup EMS – Officers assisted EMS in responding to a medical alarm. Once on scene, the patient advised she did not need any help.
Night Shift November 20: C Squad
25-012113 – 5700 BLK Wentworth Avenue – Check Well Being – Police responded to the report of an Automobile Theft at this residence. Officers met with an elderly male who stated he saw a robbery. The reporting party appeared confused and demonstrated signs of age-related mental health issues. The man’s son responded to the residence and agreed to take his father to the hospital. No evidence of a theft or robbery was found.
25-012126 – 6000 Ringgold Road – Motor Vehicle Crash with Injuries – Police Officers responded to a three-vehicle crash with injuries at the intersection of Ringgold Road and Spring Creek Road. Vehicle traffic was temporarily diverted around the busy intersection while EMS evaluated patients, and the vehicle debris was removed from the crash site.
25-012136 – 700 BLK Germantown Circle– Kidnapping / Assist Other Agency – The Walker County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance with locating a kidnapping suspect. The victim was the suspect’s mother. Police Officers went to the last known address and located her near next to a Nissan sedan outside her apartment. Police also found another person alive and well inside the vehicle. Police determined that the woman was not the current legal power of attorney for her mother. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail where she will be extradited to Georgia. A grandson responded to the scene and transported the party back to a retirement home in Lafayette, GA.
25-012141 – 700 BLK Germantown Circle– Well Being Check – A caller reported that her two juvenile nieces were left at home alone and requested a well-being check. She stated that the juveniles’ mother had been arrested earlier in the day. She also stated the juveniles are routinely left alone at the residence. Police responded to the location and found that the juveniles had left with an adult sibling who was taking care of them. A CPS report was generated for the incident.
25-012132 – 400 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Disorder – Police responded to an emergency distress alarm activated by a nurse at the Camp Jordan Emergency Room. Officers were informed that a combative patient was in the facility. Upon arrival, Police found the patient had been sedated and no further action was required.
25-012134 – 1300 BLK Coleman Circle – Unknown Trouble – ERPD responded to this location in response to a male subject standing outside screaming “I can’t do this anymore.” On scene, Officers determined that the subject was merely voicing frustrations with his home life and law enforcement action was not required.
25-012137 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road– Disorder – Police Officers responded to a disorder at the motel. It was determined the disturbance was a verbal argument between a mother and her adult daughter. The two individuals agreed to stop arguing and remain civil for the rest of the night.
25-012139 – 3700 BLK Fountain Avenue– Suspicious Activity – A resident reported an unknown person was loudly knocking on their door, then running away. Police Officers responded to the location and found a grocery delivery that was brought to the wrong apartment.
