Day Shift December 2 : B Squad

25-012486- Bennett Rd/Shadowlawn Drive- Animal Call- An anonymous RP requested police check the area for a rooster crowing. No signs were detected at the time of the call, and police requested the caller provide a more accurate location for further assistance if the matter persisted throughout the day.

25-012497 – 1400 BLK Mack Smith Road – Criminal Trespass Warning – A man was issued a criminal trespass warning for this location after employees reported him approaching and asking customers for money. The party acknowledged the warning.

25-012499/25-012505 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Suspicious Person/Criminal Trespass – Police initially responded to building #1 at this location after a concerned resident reported a homeless male sleeping in the hallway. Police encountered the party on the second floor of the building under a blanket he received from a hospital following his visit there. He was previously transported to the hospital from E 23rd St and upon being discharged relocated to this location to seek shelter. The man was advised to vacate the area. A short time later, police responded to a neighboring business after employees with the reported he was on their property panhandling. He was advised against panhandling in the city and to move along. ERPD was again notified that the man had returned to the original call location where he was again discovered lying in a hallway under a blanket. On this encounter, he was issued a criminal trespass warning for the apartments and later the neighboring business after returning to that location. Ultimately, the man was transported to a location in Chattanooga at his request.

Night Shift December 2: D Squad

25-011902-4214 Ringgold Road- Warrant Service – Police served an arrest warrant for passing worthless checks. The subject was in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.

25-012519-1400 BLK South Moore Road- Theft of Property – Police responded regarding a 5×8 trailer that was stolen. The owner stated that he left the trailer at the above address yesterday at around 8 pm on the side of his business and returned later to find it missing.

25-012521- 4214 Ringgold Road- Warrant Service – A woman was served with a Petition to Revoke warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
