Day Shift January 2: B Squad
26-000004 – 5300 BLK Haisten Court – Supplemental – The resident of this location reported she found the projectile that struck her home from New Year’s Eve. The item was secured in property and inventory.
26-000051 – 1400 BLK North Smith Street – Found Property – Police responded to the hotel after employees reported a guest left behind a handgun in the room. The firearm was secured and placed into property and inventory for safekeeping.
26-000052- 6700 BLK Ringgold Road- Arrest – A man was found intoxicated next to the business. He told police he was related to a celebrity and that he wished to go to the house of an individual from the Amazing Race television show. He was arrested and charged with public intoxication.
26-000062- 900 BLK South Seminole- Arrest/ Supplemental – A man was arrested on three outstanding warrants out of Hamilton County Sessions Court. He had been the victim in an aggravated assault that occurred on New Year’s Eve (25-013431). Following an investigation, warrants for aggravated assault are pending against a female suspect.
Night Shift January 2: D Squad
26-000070- 5300 BLK Clemons Road- Delayed Assault – It was reported to the police that on Tuesday, the victim was assaulted at her apartment by her half-sister. The victim stated that the suspect entered her residence after her boyfriend let her in and began attacking her. The subject kicked and punched the victim, leaving visible injuries. Warrants will be sought for Domestic Assault.
Day Shift January 3: B Squad
26-000088 – 75 North On Ramp – Traffic Stop – Police initiated a traffic stop for traffic violations and found the driver to be operating with a suspended license and in possession of 4.5 grams of suspected marijuana. The party was cited for both offenses and found a licensed driver to take possession of her vehicle.
26-000093- 3900 BLK Ringgold Road- Traffic Stop/ Arrest – Following a traffic stop, a man was taken into custody and charged with driving on a license revoked for DUI and failure to comply with financial responsibility. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
Night Shift January 3: D Squad
26-000102- 6500 BLK Ringgold Road– Disorder – The restaurant called 911 to report that a female became very upset at her for making her sandwich too slow and saying she was not giving her enough meat. The employee stated that the female then threw the cookie dispenser, breaking it and all the cookies on the floor. The suspect fled in a white Nissan Kick, with an unknown registration, towards the interstate. The manager wanted a report filed for the damage, and if the suspect is identified, to have them trespassed.
26-000104 – 800 BLK Belvoir Hills Drive – Shots Fired – Officers responded to the above address for a report of shots fired. ERPD checked the surrounding area and did not locate any property damage or persons in distress.
26-000107- 2000 BLK Lee Street- Threats of Self Harm – Police were forwarded this call from Chattanooga Police on a subject who is known to suffer from mental health issues. The man had called a crisis line and made direct threats of self-harm. CPD made contact at the party’s old address and found it vacant. CPD then requested a phone locate, which was granted and started showing the man on Lazard Street. ERPD found that address vacant as well. A secondary locate put his phone near Greenbriar. Police saturated the area to find him. Investigator Resendiz contacted the man on the phone. He stated that he wished for the police to kill him and would make sure the police shot him if they came out to his residence. As police were saturating the area, a call came in on Lee Street with the same phone number as the subject. Officers contained the house and attempted to have the man come outside. He finally went to the front door and was taken into protective custody and transported for treatment.
26-000116 – Belvoir Avenue @ Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity – An officer on routine patrol observed two males wearing all black walking Southbound on Belvoir Avenue near Ringgold Road. Upon noticing the officer, the males stopped walking until the officer continued onto Ringgold Road. The officer made a U-turn at East Ridge Elementary to continue observing the males. When the officer turned around, the two males engaged in unprovoked flight by running Eastbound behind an auto dealer. Other officers responded due to the suspicious activity, but the subjects were not located.
Day Shift January 4: B Squad
26-000120- 3600 BLK Ringgold Road- Traffic Stop/ Arrest – Following a traffic stop, a man was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant for a probation violation out of Catoosa County Georgia. He was transported to Hamilton County Jail.
26-000128 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Assist Other Agency – ERPD arrested a man for a warrant through Ft. Oglethorpe Police Department following a traffic stop at this location. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail to await extradition without incident.
25-000130- 6300 BLK Ringgold Road- Assault – An unidentified male entered a restaurant and caused a disorder by going behind the counter and yelling. During the disorder, the male sexually assaulted a female employee. After being asked to leave, the male punched the store manager. Warrants for Sexual Battery and Simple Assault are pending identification of the male.
Night Shift January 4: D Squad
26-000133- 6300 BLK Ringgold Road- Assault PD Only – Police were called back out as the suspect had returned to the property. Officers located the suspect, who appeared intoxicated, in the parking lot. He was detained until police could get statements of what happened, as the alleged assault took place during shift change. Officers then gathered statements from the victims and placed the man in custody for Sexual Battery, Assault, and Public Intoxication.
Day Shift January 5: A Squad
26-000148 – 3200 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder with a Weapon – Police spoke with the complainant who stated she was being followed by an unknown individual who brandished a weapon. The vehicle was described to be a red Ford F-350, bearing a Tennessee tag.
26-000147- 6400 BLK Dharma Loop- Suspicious Activity – Police were called to the above address to view Ring camera footage from when the caller was out of town at a Christmas party on 1/2/26. Her Ring camera captured two individuals at her home attempting to enter the front door. They tried another code which did not work and left the area. No malicious activity was observed.
Night Shift January 5: C Squad
26-000168 – 1200 BLK Spring Creek Road – Attempted Burglary – The caller reported an unknown suspect attempted to open the back window of her home. She added that the suspect ran away when her children realized someone was at the window and began yelling for her. She was unable to get a physical description of the suspect and had no leads on the person’s identity. Police searched the surrounding area but were unable to locate the suspect.
26-000169 – 1100 BLK Spring Creek Road – Suspicious Activity / Assist Other Agency – While patrolling the area, Police Officers located three people sitting in a vehicle behind the Spring Creek Elementary School. Police approached the vehicle and identified the driver. Police found that he had an arrest warrant through the Hamilton County Sessions Court for domestic assault. The man was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident. A licensed driver responded to the location and took the car and remaining passengers to their respective homes.
