The following information is courtesy of the East Ridge Police Department.

Day Shift January 15 : A Squad

26-000482- 3600 BLK Ringgold Road- Warrant Service – While conducting a business check, an observant officer located a car belonging to a wanted person (Case #26-000449). Police contacted the occupant who had a warrant for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. Additionally she was found to be in possession of the stolen wallet from the incident. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and transported to 601 Justice Way.

26-000489 – 700 BLK Germantown Circle – Traffic Stop / Arrest – ERPD stopped a vehicle after observing it traveling westbound on Old Ringgold at a high rate of speed. The stop was initiated in the 800 block of South Germantown Road. The driver was found to be driving on a revoked driver license. The revocation was for DUI. He was placed into custody and transported without incident.

26-000491 – 6600 BLK Hilton Drive – Backup Other Agency – Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office requested East Ridge Police Department to assist them with a warrant service. Both agencies contacted the party responsible, but the individual in question was not home.

26-000492 – I-75 Welcome Center – Well Being Check – Police were notified by security staff that an elderly man with dementia had walked from Camp Jordan to their location. ERPD provided the elderly gentleman with a courtesy ride back to his residence.

Night Shift January 15: C Squad

26-000507 – 6800 BLK Martha Avenue – Suspicious Activity – A concerned citizen reported a female and male were walking through neighborhood asking about a woman named Brittany. The caller did not know anyone named Brittany and was concerned about the couple’s true intentions. Police checked the area but did not locate the suspicious parties.

26-000508 – 5700 BLK Roper Street – Animal Call – Police responded to the report of a pit bull moving around the crawl space in Building C at the complex. An officer located the dog and secured it without issue. Another resident reported that the dog was possibly abandoned by a family that recently moved out of the apartments. Animal Control Services took custody of the dog and will further investigate the incident.

26-000512 – 3400 BLK Crabtree Drive – Burglar Alarm – Police were dispatched to a burglar alarm triggered at the front door of this residence. Upon arrival, Police attempted to contact the residents of the home, but no one answered. Police checked the doors and windows of the residence, and everything appeared secure with no signs of forced entry.
