Day Shift August 6: B Squad

26-007476 – 1500 BLK Mack Smith Road – Assist EMS – Police responded to this residence after the resident reported “Granny” had fallen and was unconscious. On arrival, police found the patient breathing but unresponsive and assisted in moving them into the recovery position until ERFD and HCEMS arrived.

26-007484- 1300 BLK San Hsi Drive- SIA – Police were flagged down after a female party stated her child was on a new bus but had not gotten off at the correct stop. She followed the bus all the way to this location. It was established that her child had boarded his old bus and was taken to their old address.

Night Shift August 6: D Squad

26-007487 – 4400 BLK Bennett Road – Animal Bite – Officers responded to the above location in response to a report that a dog had attacked a person. The dog had been contained inside the residence before officers arrived. The victim was transported to an area hospital by EMS. ERAS was notified of the incident and stated they would follow up with the dog’s owner.

26-007494 – 3300 BLK Ringgold Road – SIA – ERPD stopped a bicyclist operating a bike in the road with no light or rear reflector. The officer was informed by the rider that he was in possession of marijuana. A search yielded drug paraphernalia. The individual was interviewed and released.

26-007500 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop/ Arrest – ERPD conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that completely passed the stop bar at a red light. The officer ran both the driver’s and passenger’s IDs. The passenger had active warrants, and the originating agency wished to place a hold. She was taken into custody and transported to jail.

26-007503 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Warrant Service/ Arrest – ERPD conducted a warrant service at the motel, taking a man into custody for a traffic violation and a parole violation, with the original charges of armed robbery. He was transported to jail without incident.
