Day Shift September 1: A Squad
26-008439 – 7100 BLK Tanager Court – Suspicious Activity – Police responded to a duplex on reports two men with orange gloves covered the tenants ring camera and were walking around the property. Upon arrival police observed a pick-up truck with power washing logos on the side as well as two men wearing matching pressure washing uniforms. The men advised they were off duty fire fighters working on pressure washing the duplexes.
26-008447 – John Ross Road/Ringgold Road – Disorder – Police responded to the parking lot to speak with the caller who said he was involved in a possible road rage incident. He reported driving north bound on John Ross Road when a white Chevy truck came up on his bumper. The truck rode his bumper for a short distance, pulled back, then sped up to the bumper several times. He said on scene that he did not believe that the male driving the truck was road raging, and he believed that he was just a young kid being irresponsible. The truck was last seen going down South Moore Road. Officers were unable to locate.
Night Shift September 1: C Squad
26-008455 – 3900 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft – Police responded for a theft in progress. The clerk identified the suspect. The woman admitted to taking two sodas and a container of Pringles because she was hungry and did not have money to pay. The items were returned, and the business declined prosecution.
26-008451 – 1500 Keeble Street – Traffic Stop/Arrest – ERPD conducted a traffic stop on a Chevy Malibu for a seatbelt violation. The passenger had an active warrant out of Hamilton County for failure to pay child support. She was transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
26-008456 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – Officers were dispatched after someone called in parties from the neighboring hotel room were kicking and beating on his door. It was discovered that parties from two rooms had been in a verbal altercation. Parties from both rooms denied it ever got physical however management told officers a party had a knife in his hand. All occupants from both rooms denied ever seeing a knife, but due to safety concerns, management wanted everyone to leave and be trespassed. All left without further incident.
26-008457 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Domestic Assault/Arrest – ERPD responded to an active assault between a male and female at the gas station. Officers located a female at the door yelling at a male. The woman stated she was in a verbal altercation with her child’s father and admitted to pushing his face. Units spoke to the man, who stated that prior to the incident, she threw her phone at the vehicle while he was leaving for work. When he arrived at the gas station, she arrived shortly after and re-initiated the argument. The woman was placed in custody and charged with Domestic Assault and Disorderly Conduct.
