Day Shift September 21: B Squad
26-009135- 3100 BLK Ringgold Road- Arrest – A man was arrested on outstanding East Ridge Capias of a Probationer warrant with an original charge of theft of property. He was transported to Hamilton County Jail.
26-009143-4100 BLK Belvoir Drive- Theft – A resident reported being scammed by an individual claiming to work for the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. The victim sent the suspect $275 through Apple Pay after being told she had a warrant for missing jury duty. No suspect information is available currently.
26-009146 – 600 BLK Brookfield Avenue – Harassment – The victim reported unwanted interactions by a neighborhood resident. He stated the interactions stemmed from a previous incident were the man followed him through the neighborhood and yelled at him about his driving. Police attempted to speak with the other party, however, due to his adversarial and belligerent state; he was not receptive of the officers’ communication.
Night Shift September 21: D Squad
26-009152-5700 BLK Ringgold Road-MVC/Injuries – Police responded to this location for a two-vehicle motor vehicle crash. Occupants of both vehicles were transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
26-009158 – 4300 BLK Spriggs Street – Assist EMS – Patrol responded to the above address in reference to an unconscious person. On scene, officers assessed the patient and determined that they were pulseless. Officers initiated CPR and turned patient care over to ERFD and HCEMS. HCEMS transported the patient for further treatment.
26-009159 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft from Motor Vehicle – The caller reported that during the overnight hours, his white Chevrolet Malibu was entered while parked at the hotel. The unknown suspects took his laptop, AirPods, and one other electronic device. Officers observed no signs of forced entry. A medication bottle with the name bearing a third party’s name was in the victim’s car. The laptop was last tracked to another hotel in Hixson, Tennessee
