On Wednesday morning, Tyner Middle High Academy school administration searched a student’s vehicle after a parent expressed their concerns about a potential firearm on campus.

A loaded AR-15 was found inside the vehicle, and HCSO school resource deputies seized the firearm and took the 17-year-old juvenile suspect into custody.

The juvenile was charged with Possession of a Firearm on School Property.
