The following information was compiled from East Ridge Police Department “pass along reports” courtesy of the administration.
December 10 – Day Shift
6519 Ringgold Road (theft):
The complainant stated a male passenger in a red Chevy pickup got out of his vehicle and stole a Stihl leaf blower that was sitting in Kistler’s truck bed. Police spoke with Super 8 hotel management who stated video of the incident will not be available until a later date.
1100 Spring Creek Road (shots fired):
Police were dispatched to this area regarding a citizen hearing a “bang” or “boom.” Police checked the area but did not locate anything suspicious.

December 10 –Night Shift
4338 Ringgold Rd (Suspicious Activity 20-016254):
A caller stated several UPS trucks were backed up next to each other in the Food Lion parking lot swapping packages between the trucks. Police made contact with the drivers who were reallocating deliveries.
6725 Ringgold Rd (Improperly Parked Vehicles 20-016255):
The owner of Chattanooga Mercantile wanted police to have two large trucks removed from his parking lot. The trucks were found to be cranes working on the interstate project who were staging for work. The cranes were leaving as officers arrived.
938 Spring Creek Rd (Suspicious Person 20-0162):
Police responded to calls about a male party walking through yards in the area. Officers located Thomas Packett. Packett was found to have active warrants through Georgia and Meigs County. Neither Georgia nor Meigs County wanted the party taken into custody at this time.
1000 Spring Creek Rd (Fail to Stop):
Police attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a green Honda Accord with no visible registration. The vehicle fled north into Chattanooga at a high rate of speed. Officers deactivated all emergency equipment and allowed the vehicle to safely flee per department policy.
4000 Maryland Dr (DUI 20-016263):
Yolanda Coleman was taken into custody for DUI during a traffic stop.
3600 Bennett Rd (Burglary 20-016265):
The reporting party stated she arrived home at approximately 05:00 AM and her home had been entered. Officers located a back door that had been forced open. Nothing appeared to have been taken.

December 11 – Day Shift
5714 Ringgold Road (Walters Service Center)- Theft-
The caller advised several catalytic converters were stolen sometime during the night. There are no suspects.
728 Frawley Road #419 (Park Ridge Apartments)- Suicidal Threats-
The caller advised a male subject was threatening suicide. On arrival police contacted the man. He advised police that he does not want to hurt himself and denied stating he wanted to hurt himself to his sister-in-law. He did state he is a recovering opioid addict and has been going through withdrawals lately from not using. He told police that he already has plans to go Joe Johnson to seek help for his addiction. Police attempted to call the reporting party back, however, were unsuccessful.
835 Hardin Drive- Suspicious Activity-
The caller advised a black female in a red Cadillac stopped at this abandoned house and took a package from the front porch. The suspicious female was gone before police arrival.
517 South Lovell Avenue- Theft-
Complainant called to advise a male named Chris took items from a construction site on Hazelwood Drive in Chattanooga and then took items from this address. Police attempted to locate Chris but were unsuccessful. Officers also could not locate a victim at this address. CPD was advised of the incident.

December 11 – Night Shift
4214 Ringgold Rd / Warrant service (20-016296):
Riley, Terrance was taken into custody for an East Ridge warrant.
4214 Ringgold Rd/ Warrant service (20-016307):
Police arrested Jacob Wasp for an East Ridge Alias Capias, driving while suspended warrant.
6600 Ringgold Rd / Arrest:
Jacqueline Womack was taken into custody for driving on revoked for DUI following a traffic stop at this location.
1210 Mcbrien Road/Warrant Service:
Michael Garrick was arrested on an East Ridge warrant at this location.
3600 Ringgold Road/Drug arrest:
Velisha Kirby was arrested during a traffic stop and charged with meth and Xanax for resale.
5317 Ringgold Road/Public Intox:
Daniel Pflueger was arrested for public intoxication at this location.
3400 Lisa Drive, Apt 8/ Domestic Assault:
Charles Shaw Jr., got into a physical altercation with his girlfriend. She displayed red marks around her neck where he placed his hands to hold her down. He also broke a shelf in her apartment, knocked over her flat screen TV, and pulled down Christmas lights hung around the patio. She estimated about $400 in damages. Shaw was arrest for Domestic Assault and Vandalism.
