Police Briefs for Sept. 28

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

September 25 – Day Shift

100 I-75 NB (public intox):

Police responded to a vehicle fire on the interstate. The vehicle was unoccupied, but police observed a male a good distance north walking from the direction of the vehicle. Police made contact with Felipe Rodriguez who stated it was his vehicle. Rodriguez was arrested for public intoxication. (21-013921)

6016 Ringgold Road (criminal trespass):

Daniel Lucas was arrested at Marco’s Pizza for criminal trespassing. (21-013949)

4214 Ringgold Road (warrant service):

Deraesean Bowman was arrested on an active East Ridge warrant for driving on suspended. (21-013952)

6642 Ringgold Road (found property):

a Lyft driver picked up a passenger at the East Ridge Econo Lodge around 2 a.m. this morning. She took the subject to a location in Chattanooga and returned home. Once home she received a text from the passenger telling her he left a red drink cup in her back seat and needed it back. The cup was turned over to Red Bank police after the driver found a crystal substance in it. RBPD confirmed the substance was crystal meth and placed it into property. (21-013940)

September 25 – Night Shift

6116 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-013966):

Jaro Hernandez was taken into custody for public intoxication after being involved in a disorder.

4005 Bennett Rd (Suspicious Activity 21-012967):

The reporting party stated someone was walking around the apartment complex with a flashlight. It was determined the party with a flashlight was a resident.

4145 Ringgold Rd (Intoxicated Party 21-013971):

Police responded to assist a resident with an intoxicated person who had arrived at their apartment. Officers responded and located a nude, intoxicated Deasia Stoudemire in the parking lot of the apartment complex. She was taken into custody for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

6514 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-013975):

William Boymaster was taken into custody on multiple warrants through Hamilton County and Soddy Daisy.

4214 Ringgold Rd (Warrant Arrest 21-013976):

Marquell Geter was arrested on East Ridge warrants at Silverdale.

1200 Reeves Ave (Suspicious Activity 21-013981):

While conducting a neighborhood patrol officers encountered three young adult males who appeared to be attempting to steal a street sign. The young men explained to police they were not trying to steal the sign but were merely doing “stupid drunk stuff.” They were encouraged to go into their residence for the remainder of the night.

September 26 – Day Shift

320 Sunnyfield Lane (auto burglary):

The complainant stated someone entered his vehicle overnight and stole his wallet and contents. (21-013989)

4214 Ringgold Road (warrant service):

Dustin Walton was arrested on three active East Ridge warrants while at Silverdale. (21-013996)

4214 Ringgold Road (warrant service):

Charles V. Hill was arrested on an active East Ridge warrant and transported to Silverdale. (21-014002)

September 26 – Night Shift

 728 Frawley Rd (Suspicious Activity 21-014006):

Officers responded to reports of a male party discharging an airsoft rifle from his balcony into the apartment complex parking lot. Police made contact with the subject who seemed oblivious to the fact other residents would be concerned about this behavior. He agreed to stop shooting from his balcony.

5400 Ringgold Rd (Arrests 21-014013):

Christopher Partin was taken into custody for possession of Suboxone and drug paraphernalia. A passenger in his vehicle, Ivory McReynolds, was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine. Both were transported to Silverdale.

1504 John Ross (Residential Fire 21-014016):

Police responded with Fire personnel on a possible residential fire. Once on scene it was learned the homeowner had left food cooking on the stove for almost 24 hrs. Officers provided traffic control until the fire department cleared the scene.

400 block Donaldson Rd (Disorder/Arrest 21-014020):

Reporting party stated a male and female had been in an argument for several hours. When officers arrived it was learned one of the subjects involved in the disorder was in possession of methamphetamine. Melvin Smith was taken into custody and transported to Silverdale.

1410 Mack Smith Rd (Arrest 21-014037):

Police responded to reports of a disorder and made a return trip for a possible burglary of an automobile. Robert Crawley was involved in both the disorder and burglary. The victim declined to prosecute for burglary. Crawley was taken into custody of public intoxication after it was determined he could not take care of himself in his impaired state.
