Sept. 29 Police Briefs

The following information is courtesy of the East Ridge Police Department and compiled from its “pass along reports.”

Sept. 27 Day Shift

21-013991- 728 Frawley Road (Park Ridge Apartments)- Trespassing-

The complainant called regarding trespassing former residents. On scene he advised he had video of three suspects who entered an area off limits area to the public. The area is a burned apartment building that has been fenced off. The complainant stated the suspects are previous residents who had to vacate the building due to the fire. The suspects have continually tried to get back into the building but have been denied access due to the danger involved. He stated he observed two suspect vehicles parked out in front of the office. The vehicles were there overnight and at approximately 02:00 hours video shows the suspects carrying items out of the building and loading the items into their vehicles. The complainant requested the three suspects be criminally trespassed from this location if they are located.

21-014039- 6519 Ringgold Road (Super 8)- Disorder-

Police were dispatched on a male and female in a disorder. On scene police spoke with a man who said he had been kicked out of his room by his girlfriend. The room was registered to the girlfriend. The night manager requested both parties be trespassed from this location. Police informed both parties they were trespassed from the location and they would need to get their belongings and leave the property. Both parties gathered their belongings and left.

21-014056- 1149 Tamarack Trail- Suspicious People-

The caller advised of two male subjects in the neighborhood attempting to sell Leaf Guard gutters. On scene police checked the area and located the two males. They were advised to obtain a sales permit before returning.

21-014057- 713 South Lovell Avenue- Suspicious Activity-

The caller advised on her return home she found her gate and crawlspace door open. She requested police respond to check the house. On scene police checked the house and found nothing out of the ordinary. The caller requested extra patrols of the neighborhood.

Night Shift

21-014076 500 block Cedar Glen / Found Child:

Police arrived on scene and located a three-year-old juvenile male with a neighbor. The neighbor advised that they located the child in the roadway at approximately 22:30 hours. Police located the mother of the child and released the child to her custody. CPS report completed, report on file.

1600 Springvale / Arrest: (21-014066)

Police conducted a traffic stop at this location for a seat belt violation and discovered a passenger of the vehicle, Jessica Rackler. had nine active warrants through the City of East Ridge and several through Hamilton County. Rackler was taken into custody and transported to Silverdale.

3600 Ringgold Rd. / Arrest: (21-014077)

Jerry Bolins was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at this location.

700 S. Germantown Road -21-014080 / Traffic Stop / Arrest-

Chadwick Brown was taken into custody at this location for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and public intoxication.

1400 S. Moore Road / Arrest-Traffic:  

Jesus Mendoza was stopped for speeding and was unable to show proof of identification.  Mendoza arrested for Driving Without a License.  21-014082

(21-014092) 5700 Roper St. / Agg. Domestic:

Stephanie Burke was arrested for Aggravated Domestic and Possession of Methamphetamine after she attempted to run over her boyfriend with a vehicle.
