Oct. 12 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

October 09 – Day Shift

1305 Sunnyfield/ Disorder: 21-014673:

Police received a call alerting them to the presence of Noah McLemore at this address. McLemore is suspected of throwing an accelerant on the front porch of his girlfriend’s house. The warrants for McLemore had not been signed when police encountered him at the house again. The suspect was advised to turn himself in later this date once the warrants become active.

1102 Altamaha-  Auto Theft 21-014700:  

The complainant reported the theft of her, white, 2001 GMC Yukon, TN926CQC, from this location. The vehicle was entered into NCIC.

482 McBrien Rd (suspicious activity/arrest)21–14685:

William Joshua Thompson was detained on warrants through Hamilton County Criminal Court and Alabama after a concerned citizen observed him and a female sitting in the parking lot possibly “casing” parked cars. The subjects were observed sitting in a 2020 black Nissan Altima that had paint on the windshield over the VIN plate, manufacturer markings removed from the vehicle and displaying the wrong license plate. The vehicle was not listed as stolen in NCIC but Enterprise Rent-A-Car advised it was in their system as stolen due to the renter failing to return it in June. It was towed to Enterprise’s lot. Thompson was also found in possession of drug paraphernalia and schedule IV (Xanax) and charged accordingly.

4214 Ringgold Rd (warrant service)21-014703:

David Trent Walker, Jr was served with a forfeiture capias for driving on suspended driver’s license while in custody at Silverdale.

4214 Ringgold Rd (warrant service)21-007296:

Justin D. Barberee was detained and transported to Silverdale by HCSO on an East Ridge warrant for Forgery after an encounter with him at 1651 Jed Ln.

October 09 – Night Shift

4119 Dupont Street (21-014715) –Warrant Service

Antwan White was arrested on Sessions Court warrant(s)

4214 Ringgold Rd. (21-013405) –Warrant Service

Brandy Browning was arrested on East Ridge warrant(s)

Franklin Place (21-14714) –Stolen Vehicle

A stolen vehicle was recovered subsequent to a traffic stop.  The vehicle was stolen in Bradley County.  Marshawn Harris was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of a firearm by a felon and felony weight possession of marijuana.  Billie Redden, a passenger in the vehicle was arrested on Bradley County warrant(s). 

1410 Mack Smith Road #2311 (21-014716)–Fugitive Warrant

Based on a tip, Chase Posey was arrested on Fugitive warrants from Floyd County Ga.

3900 Ringgold Rd. (21-014733) –DUI

Subsequent to a traffic stop, Santiago Ramos was arrested for DUI, Driving on Suspended and presenting a counterfeit State document

October 10 – Day Shift

5401 Connell Street (theft):

The complainant called in stating a young juvenile stole her cell phone and speaker from her driveway and ran down Connell Street. Police located a juvenile matching the description jumping fences on Altamaha Street. The juvenile was detained, but police could not locate the phone or speaker. The juvenile, who was uncooperative, was transported to JDU for theft. (21-014752)

207 Hilldale Drive (auto burglary):

The resident stated her cell phone was stolen from her unlocked vehicle overnight. (21-014745)

 3900 Ringgold Rd. (21-014708) –Harassment 

Warrants were sought to arrest Cordellius Birdsong for harassment.

1500 Swope Drive (21-014764) –DUI

Jose Borjas Gonzales, subsequent to a traffic stop, was arrested for DUI

800 South Germantown Road (21-01476708) –Felony Evading

A black motorcycle with no taillamp or registration refused to stop on an attempted traffic stop and fled at an extreme rate of speed onto Ringgold Road.

1200 South Seminole Drive (21-014773) –Warrant

Subsequent to a traffic stop, Mandy Stone was arrested on Hamilton County warrant(s)
