Police Briefs for Oct. 27

The following information was compiled from “pass along reports” provided by the ERPD.

Oct. 25 Day Shift

21-015479 – 3109 Ellis Ave – Vandalism:

The resident reported that he returned home from work and found a hammer in his windshield. He suspects that it was thrown by his ex-girlfriend after a witness observed a vehicle like her car in the area. He did not wish to prosecute at this time.

21-015484 – 6721 Ringgold Rd – Property:

A purse was found by staff from Family Dollar at this location.  The purse was placed in the ERPD Property Room until the respective owner could retrieve it.

 Night Shift

21-015493 – 4345 Ringgold Road / Arrest-

Police conducted a traffic stop at this location after receiving a call that this party was prowling around 724 S. Lovell Ave. and ran a vehicle into a ditch. After a probable cause search of the vehicle, police found drug paraphernalia, a stolen tag, and 1.41 ounces of methamphetamine. Holli Breedwell was taken into custody and charged accordingly.

21-015490 4338 Ringgold Road / Intoxicated Person: 

The caller reported an intoxicated person getting into a dark blue Chevrolet Colorado bearing TN registration and with a busted headlight.  The vehicle was located, and the driver, Nancy Roundtree, was arrested for DUI 3rd.

21-013569 7609 Standifer Gap Road / Arrest-Warrant: 

Lauren Joy Smith was arrested on an East Ridge warrant for Aggravated Burglary.

1400 block W End Ave/Drugs (21-015491)

Billy Wilson was arrested for possession of meth during a traffic stop at this location.

6515 Ringgold Road/Warrant Service (21-015495)

Zachary Green was arrested on Georgia warrants after a traffic stop at this location.

4214 Ringgold Road/Warrants (21-015503)

THP arrested Devin Langston with an active warrant through East Ridge. THP transported the male to the Marion County Jail. The warrant was faxed, and he is being held waiting on pickup.

1517 St. Thomas / Arrest: (21-015487)

Police responded to a report of an intoxicated person at Motel 6. While on the scene, police contacted David Oliver, who was found to have several active warrants. Oliver was taken into custody for his warrants and issued a misdemeanor citation for simple possession.

5707 Ringgold Rd / Overdose:

 Police responded to the Dollar General after a brown SUV pulled into the parking lot, and the driver drug a male party out of the vehicle and left him on the sidewalk. Upon arrival, police found the male party to be unconscious from an apparent overdose. Narcan was administered, and the male party was transported by EMS.

6600 Ringgold Rd / Arrest: (21-015504)

Eric Holland was arrested for distribution of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony.
