Police Briefs for Dec. 8

Dec. 6 Day Shift

21-017627- 4150 Ringgold Road- Theft-

While police were investigating a shoplifting incident at the Walmart when they advised of an internal theft. A loss prevention employee advised on 12-3-21 she discovered that employee Emina Hrnic had been stealing from the business. The loss prevention employee discovered during the time period of 11-1-21 to 12-5-21, Hrnic has continuously placed price tags of discounted items on other grocery products in order to pay significantly less for them. At the end of the investigation, it was found that Hrnic did this with approximately 240 different items over the period of four and a half months, with a total loss of $1,413.34. The loss prevention employee was able to show police security footage of Hrnic ring up a $10 box of cookies for 75 cents, as the receipt showed a loaf of French bread. Hrnic is set to be terminated from Walmart and warrants for embezzlement will be sought.

21-017628- 3416 Land Street- AOA-

City code enforcement called and requested a police escort to this address while they condemned the house. On scene police stood by while code enforcement inspected the residence.

21-017635- 22 Sheridan Road- Suspicious Activity-

The caller advised she thinks homeless people are squatting in the abandoned house at this address. On scene police checked the house and found no one inside.

21-017639- 1302 Spring Creek Road- Suspicious Person-

The caller advised a male on a bicycle was bumming money in the area. On scene police checked Spring Creek from Ringgold Road to the city limits. He was not located.

21-017640- 490 Camp Jordan Parkway- Wellbeing Check-

The caller advised of an older male with no shoes acting confused in the lobby of the Topgolf. On scene police spoke to the male. He was transported to his room at Budgetel.

21-017641- 5310 Greenbriar Road- Registration Tag Theft-

Complainant called to report her vehicle tag stolen (59AS87 TN). She advised sometime between 12-3 2200 hours and 12-4 0900 hours an unknown suspect removed the tag from her vehicle. The missing tag was entered in NCIC as stolen.   

21-017642- 3614 Koons Road- Suspicious Person-

The caller advised of a suspicious male in a gray Toyota truck claiming to be with ADT. She advised he has come to her residence two times. On scene police checked the area with nothing located.

21-017663 6510 Ringgold Road / Unconscious Person / Arrest:

Dakota Kletshka was arrested for public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia following was found unconscious at this location.
