Dec. 14 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from “pass along reports” provided by the East Ridge Police Department.

December 11 – Day Shift

21-017898- 1517 Tombras Avenue- Alarm-

Police responded to check City Hall. On scene two males were located inside sitting in the court waiting area. Through a translator app police were able to determine the males were waiting on the court to open. They were advised to try again on Monday. The doors appeared to have been accidently left open. Police checked the building and found one of the rear doors open as well. 

21-017889- 6515 Ringgold Road- Shots Fired-

The caller advised she heard two to three shots at this location. On scene police checked the area but nothing was located.

21-017892- Warrant Service-

Clifton Matthew Thompson was served with East Ridge alias capias (driving on suspended) while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.

21-017893- 5301 Ringgold Road- Disorder-

Amy Beach was arrested and charged with assault and felony evading following a disorder at the Walgreens and failing to stop for a traffic stop. She was found in Chattanooga at her home address and detained by CPD just after fleeing the traffic stop. She was also issued a criminal trespass warning for the business.

21-017895- 5330 Ringgold Road- Theft-

The caller advised a male in an older model green Subaru Outback took the registration tag (RTL4585 GA) from his vehicle and left the scene. The tag was entered in NCIC as stolen.

No number assigned- 5313 Spriggs Street- Unknown 911-

Dispatch advised of a 911 hang up at this address. On scene police found children had been playing with the phone.

21-017896- Warrant Service-

Alden Profanchik turned himself in at the Fire and Police Service Center on two East Ridge warrants. He was transported to Silverdale without incident.

No number assigned- 1307 Spring Creek Road- Suspicious Person-

A passerby called to advise of a male walking along the road carrying a baseball bat. On scene, police checked the area but the male was not located.

December 11 – Night Shift

6600 Ringgold Road / Evading: (21-017912)

Police attempted a traffic stop on a silver Nissan Sentra driven by a male. The vehicle displayed a tag of A0485U and fled the traffic stop by heading south on Interstate 75. Police deactivated emergency equipment and allowed the suspect to safely flee from police. Warrants are pending further investigation.

700 S Germantown Rd (DUI 21-017910):

Stacey Smith was taken into custody for DUI during a traffic stop at this location.

Belvoir Ave / Cresthaven Dr (Warrant Service 21-017915):

Brooke Alexander was taken into custody on an outstanding East Ridge warrant during a traffic stop at this location.

21-017906 1503 McDonald Road Room 107 (Drug Arrest/ Search Warrant)

Fred White, Brandy Burnett, Jonathan Coleman, Andrew McCarty, and Jordan Skinner were arrested on multiple drug charges following the execution of a narcotics search warrant at this address.

21-017904 2000 McBrien Road / Crash-Hit and Run: 

A black full-size SUV hit a silver Kia Soul and fled into Georgia.  No further information on the suspect vehicle.

21-017914 3100 Ringgold Road / Crash-Hit and Run: 

A white Toyota Tacoma driven by an unknown person hit the right side of the west bound Bachman Tunnel entrance and flipped.  The driver fled on foot in an unknown direction.

December 12 – Day Shift

21-017927- Warrant Service-

Kenneth Blount was surrendered to police by Cumberland Bonding to be served with a forfeiture capias (public intoxication). Blount was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail for booking.

21-017928- Camp Jordan Parkway @ Ringgold Road- Suspicious Activity-

The caller advised of a homeless male at the intersection acting strange. On scene, police checked the area, but the male was not located.

December 12– Night Shift

No Number  1600 Prater / Arrest: 

Whitney Patterson was taken into custody for active Hamilton County warrant following a traffic stop at this location.

21-017936  400 S. Moore Road / Arrest-Traffic: 

Gregory T. Holt was arrested for Driving While License Revoked, Suspended after being stopped for speeding.  Holt is revoked for DUI and refusing Substance Test.

21-017945  3725 Fountain Ave / Disorder: 

Police responded to a reported home invasion at this location. On arrival it was determined that the person who was alleged to be committing the home invasion lived at the residence and was involved in a disorder with the caller. All involved were separated for the night.
