_ 3625 Ringgold Rd: Police were called to the Cascades Motel Sunday on a reported auto theft. According to a police report, the victim said that he had spoken with the suspect the day before when he helped her out after she ran her vehicle into his front yard and it had gotten stuck. The victim told police that he took the suspect to the Cascades and got her a room after her car was towed from his yard. He told officers that he went to the motel on Sunday to make sure that her keys were returned. The suspect, the report states, asked the victim if she could drive his car to the front of the motel to see her mother. The woman never returned with the car. The suspect is described as a white female between 35 and 40 years old. She is 5-feet, 5 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds. The vehicle was entered into NCIC as stolen.

_ 5700 Roper St.: Police were dispatched early Sunday morning to the Newcastle Apartments on a disorder. While en rout to the call, an officer was flagged down by two people claiming they had been robbed by an armed man at that address. According to a  police report, the man and woman said they had gone to the apartments to meet a woman, known only as “Carly,” who they had become acquainted with over social media. When they were headed to “Carly’s” apartment, they told police they were approached by a black male with a red bandanna over his face brandishing what appeared to be a firearm pointed at them. The couple told officers the man demanded money and the keys to their vehicle. The report states that the couple told the officer that “Carly” ran off in an unknown direction. The male victim threw his keys into a grassy area, but the suspect took their cell phones. The male victim said the suspect then proceeded to ransack his vehicle. The report states that the victims were taken back to the apartments to the area where they said the crime occurred. The report states that police discovered the vehicle, which appeared to have been ransacked with numerous items strewn about inside. The glove box was open, the report states. The keys to the vehicle were located in an area where the male victim said he had tossed them. The report states that officers attempted to make contact with anyone in the apartment where the victims said they were headed, but were unable to do so. The female victim told officers that she had met “Carly” through a Facebook page while trying to “meet new friends.” The woman told police that she had some information about “Carly” and would send it to investigators once she got back home.
