The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

Jan. 24 Day Shift

1523 Keeble Street (auto theft):

The complainant stated someone stole his yellow 2014 Ford E350 box van with VIN# 1FDWE3FS7EDA61783 and GA tag# RJI2985 while it was at Hide-Away Storage. (22-001095)

6650 Ringgold Road (public intoxication):

Roger Power was arrested for disorderly conduct and public intoxication after becoming rowdy in the lobby of the La Quinta Inn. (22-001105)

6615 Jordan Run (auto theft):

The complainant stated his white GMC Yukon Denali was stolen from this address overnight. (22-001087)

1602 Adair Avenue (auto theft recovery):

The suspects from the above theft crashed the stolen car into another vehicle before driving into the residence at this address. A stolen handgun was recovered inside the stolen GMC Yukon. The suspects fled on foot, and leads are being pursued. (22-001093)

6728 Ringgold Road (auto theft):

Employees at Camping World arrived this morning to find one of their service trucks, a single cab Ford F-350 dually, missing from the property. (22-001091)

Night Shift

6600 block Hilton Dr (Assault 22-001133):

Corey Phinizey was taken into custody for domestic assault after a lengthy standoff with the SWAT team. Phinizey was additionally charged with disorderly conduct after he became loud and threatened healthcare workers at Parkridge East Hospital.

6700 Ringgold Rd (Disorder 22-001121):

Officers responded to reports of a road rage incident in the area on I-75 and Ringgold Rd. Police made contact with a black Honda and white Dodge Ram after observing them traveling at high rates of speed in the 6700 block of Ringgold Rd. It was determined the incident began as an assault in Ooltewah and the parties had been attempting to elude the suspect for several miles. Chattanooga PD arrived and took over the investigation.

5700 Roper Street Apt E03 (Burglary Attempt 22-001116):

Police were dispatched to a burglary attempt at this location. The resident advised she came home and noticed someone attempted to make entry into her apartment.

4320 Bennett Rd (Miscellaneous 22-001122):

The reporting party called in stating a male and female were on the tennis courts and worried due to lack of clothing. Police arrived on scene to two people playing tennis.

6728 Ringgold Rd (Supplement 22-001091):

Lowndes County recovered a stolen vehicle out of East Ridge. Vehicle was unoccupied on the side of the interstate. The owner was called, and vehicle was removed from NCIC.

3519 Pinellas Lane (Suspicious Person 22-001131):

Caller stated that she heard someone knocking on her front and back door. Police checked the area but did not locate anyone.

22-00115 1410 Mack Smith Rd (Arrest 22-001115) :

David Schrank was arrested for driving while revoked for DUI and open container law violation.

22-001127 600 Frawley Rd (Arrest 22-001127):

Jason Abercrombie was arrested for reckless driving and DUI 2nd following a traffic stop.
