Police Briefs March 15

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

March 14 Day Shift

22-003540- 4222 Ringgold Road- Intoxicated Driver-

The caller advised she was almost hit by a white vehicle running a stop sign and felt the driver may possibly be intoxicated. She followed the vehicle to Speedway and called police. On scene both the caller and the subject had already left the area.

22-003559- 941 Spring Creek Road- Rape-

Police were dispatched to the hospital regarding the rape of a juvenile female. On further investigation it was learned the incident occurred in Chattanooga. CPD was notified.

22-003560- 549 Benson Drive- AOA-

Police responded with Fire on a residential fire. On scene the house had already been evacuated. Police stood by while fire handled the call.

 Night Shift

(22-003565) Oakdale Ave / Suspicious Activity:

Juvenile suspects were located and identified walking down Oakdale who are believed to be involved in a robbery. A supplemental to the original robbery report was completed using the above case number.

He was among reporters who were honored by the Associated Press for the TFP's coverage of the 2002 fog-shrouded crash on I-75 in Catoosa County, Dick and his wife, Cathy, live on Marlboro Avenue where they are seen frequently chasing around their three grandsons.
